I'm surprised that his answer for closing claims wasn't better. We routinely close claims in less than 21 days, and we track that data on every claim we handle. If a roof supplement is beyond 60 days for us, that's weird, and shouldn't be happening.

Really and you have worked large coverage area losses with Cat Deployments to handle the claims from the large event? Hmmm that’s weird, cause it’s a very real thing to have claims go out 3+ months.

@@RavenClariceStahrling yes I've worked large coverage area losses as an adjuster in the field, and as an estimator handling supplements for contractors. In the last 12 months our business has looked like this: State Farm: 28.2% of our supplements take on average - 29.7 days - to close Allstate: 16.0% - 19.27 days USAA: 8.5% - 23.19 days Progressive: 5.4% - 7.12 days Farmers: 3.6% - 29.11 days If you know what you're doing, I would say it is not normal for a roof claim or supplement to take 3 months. Our large loss jobs that are 250k or more, yes of course those take a long time. But roofers, no way should your supplements be taking that long.

@@pika96I work the industry too, even with escalation moves the claims are delayed and by adjusters overwhelmed or lack of response. Our team sets it up and our goal too is a month but there has been a huge shift in delays across the board even on simple residential RFG/SDG claims and supplements

Manipulating an estimating software system to get more money than the job actually costs is stealing. But based on the content and skewed perspective of your videos it’s pretty clear that you’ve convinced yourself it’s okay. The more you manipulate and game the insurance claims process the more you skew the actual pricing for the industry as a whole. Nothing is free. Everyone pays for this in their premiums. We will all be sure to thank our local roofers and public adjusters for our industry wide rate increases and insurance companies going under. Again, nothing is free. Be careful when biting the hand that feeds you. If you bite the whole hand off there is nothing coming back your way. Don’t be continually guided by your arrogance and greed.

Finding things that the insurance carrier owes for, and missed, isn't stealing. It's helping the insurance carrier fulfill the contract (policy) that they have with the homeowner.
