1.Plug seat belt in stop car from going to sleep 2.print out cheat sheet 3.plug in enet cable to obd port and laptop 4.Launch esys via token master once loaded click connect top right 5.Choose FO20 FOR BMW 4 SERIES NOT DIRECT Connection via vin clicked And series , I step(shipment)clicked 6.Then click connect at bottom to vehicle Once connected to vehicle a box should pop up saying connection established (G168) 7.Click on expert mode 8 Select coding 9.find vehicle order click on read 10.click on read SVT 11.click on "save as" for to create backup files for FA and SVT give the files a name to easy remember them 12.locate folder for group you wish to code from cheat sheet 13 right click on cafd you need to expand 14 right click ,then select read coding Data 15.locate the file in the expanded folder 16 click on edit FDL 17 locate the folder that contains content to be coded 18.expand group folder ,the expand Funktionen 19 expand the folder for the function you are going to code 20 right click to edit value based on the parameters needed 21 once finished working in the folder your woking on click the green back Botton top right .a popup box will display saying there is a module still open click save 22 find FA folder at top and right-click,then Activate FA 23.ensure the folder you worked in is expanded 24.select the CAFD file then click "CODE FDL” in the coding main box 25.click close when “finished” successful flash displayed in Green if goes red there is a problem with the coding 26.click close 27 once all coding has been done click on disconnect bottom at the top left .A box will pop up saying saying "close connection?" click yes 28 now safe to disconnect the ENET cable from OBD port of car

Great stuff man. Quick suggestion: I think should mention about taking a back of CAFD files to(.NCDs) also as FA & SVT alone will not be sufficient if something major happens as a backup. Cheers..Good Work

Thasigan Pillay there are two ways really. You can VO Code back to original specs or you can load the backup. Honestly, the backup is the long way but it saves all the features you coded. Well, lets say you want to return ECU to factory Coding. Which method is easier? VO Code: Connect => Read FA (VO) => Activate FA (VO) => Read SVT (VCM) => Right-Click on ECU => Select CODE. Restore .NCD: Connect => Read FA (VO) => Activate FA (VO) => Read SVT (VCM) => Right-Click ECU CAFD File => Select New FDL => Navigate to C:\ESysData\CAF and select matching .NCD file => Left-Click on Inserted CAFD => Select FDL Code.

Thasigan Pillay Essentially, yes. You connect the cabke the same way. Instead of clicking "read FA" And "read SVT", you select "load FA" And "load SVT". Then, the rest of the flashing process is the same. Restore .NCD: Connect => Read FA (VO) => Activate FA (VO) => Read SVT (VCM) => Right-Click ECU CAFD File => Select New FDL => Navigate to C:\ESysData\CAF and select matching .NCD file => Left-Click on Inserted CAFD => Select FDL Code.

Hello everyone, I need help or a hint, BMW X3 / F25 a problem with a pregnant man, trying to solve these through the E-Sys Launcher Pro, I counted the bundle from the car, then from the modules, then there are three caf files in Acsm, I guess you need to go and change the very first quotation file, the problem is trail. what parameter needs to be changed there are a bunch of folders. Thanks in advance .Active headrest PASS front-resistance too high , and do I need to disconnect the passenger presence sensor connector? and where to find it

Quick question. My 2014 328i has blind spot monitors that only activate over 50km/h. The newer versions LCI versions activate at 20km/h. BMW Australia tell me there is no software upgrade, but surely we can upgrade this to activate at a slower speed.

Hi Rich, great video! My instrument cluster on my x5 E 70 has some blown pixels. I bought another instrument cluster on eBay and installed it. Milage read the same and everything seems to work however it’s generated several fault codes that had to do with drive systems but everything still worked properly(When I put the first scanner on it it seemed to do with the kombi system). I read online that I should have to code in the vin number in the new replacement cluster. Very difficult to find anybody that explains, especially as good as you just did, how to do this, are you aware of the process?

No need. Just make sure the car is on during the coding. Coding is generally a quick process or you can have the engine running. You only need a power supply if coding the ECU's or entire car which can take a few hours.
