It’s been really cool seeing two clone wars era ships come to live action in the show. A video on the T-6 would be great!

I’m planning to make one closer to the end of the season so I can wait and see if it has any other tricks up it’s sleeves that the animated version didn’t, and so that I have more footage to work with. I had to repeat the same clips like three times for the live-action Eta in this video!

I'd love to learn more about the droids in Ahsoka!

The spherical cockpit in the "Clone Wars" Eta shuttle reminds me of the alien spacecraft from one of the episodes in "Heavy Metal", So Beautiful and So Dangerous. It's cheeky looking and suggests that the designer wasn't that serious.

Yeah, I love a good whimsical design. It’s clearly from an era where the Jedi and the Senate weren’t going to war!

Ah, a funny thing about the Windows. George Lucas mentioned in his directors commentary that he wanted all the Empire's windows to look like Spider webs. This goes back to the Emperor's window from ROTJ and even the TIE Fighter cockpit.

Oh, cool! I’ll have to see if I can find the directors version sometime.

I love this ship so much and I love how baylan's Is in disrepair because of how old it is

It's interesting to see Baylan (I hope I spelled his name right) and his apprentice Shin use a Eta-class shuttle and for the most part use Jedi equipment and clothing. Sure, Baylan was a Jedi before, but it's interesting for them to retain some of their Jedi aesthetics to the point the New Republic got confused and thought they were Jedi.

Agreed. Baylan definitely has some respect for the Jedi even if he no longer considers himself one. Same with his reluctance to kill Ahsoka. I’m very curious about what his grand plan is.

Great video. I’m betting this is supposed to be a new version of the Eta-class shuttle, since it is so drastically different than what we’ve seen in cannon.

I figured it was just an art style change since it still keeps the same sort of vibe. Compare that to the GX1 Short Hauler, which had an almost unrecognizable hull shape in live action compared to animation. But the wings and landing gear are completely different on the Eta, so you might be right. We’ll have to wait for a Mandoverse visual dictionary and hopefully they’ll tell us in there.

I definitely preferred the look and utility of the Nu-class shuttle.

Yeah, same, That’s my second favorite after the Lambda.

that is a heavy transport this is a fast transport , i always felt the clone wars one was specially built for jedi stealth missions like the jedi starfighters for some reason , very nimble too

Very interesting, love how the wings can fold up and down so easily. Keep up the good work.

I'm thinking that the show-makers made ahsoka have a t-6, aka a jedi shuttle, and made balan have an eta, aka a jedi shuttle, so they'd both be connected to the jedi order through their ships

Congrats on 1k! I've always liked the bubble like cockpit in the front, it's not something to typical imo

Thanks! I've always liked that too even thought I didn't care for the rest of the ship. It's kind of like the Bell 47 helicopter.

The new eta is kinda ugly and looks junky

Oh also I had a question that maybe you could help me on I wanted to find the name of the ship in the lux bonteri episode a friend in need The only name I can find for it is Republic delegate transport but that gets nothing
@RadioFreeCoruscant Жыл бұрын
Is it the red one with the little pod on the bottom? That would be the GX1 Short Hauler, which also appears in Rebels, The Rise of Skywalker, and, I believe, Andor.
