We just need so so much more of this. Imagine if science/development never turned away from human power in favor of various fuels. Progress would be slower but what kind advancements would have possibly been made? We could be living in a world where everything is just powered by our own movement...

a new cicling high speed sport would be cool ;)

Such a sport already exists. This attempt will compete against other, past attempts. The current record, mentioned in the video, is about 83 MPH, set by a team from Delft, Netherlands; in Fall of 2013.

I don't think crashes are very common in that sport. You don't hear of many. They don't race side-by-side, but against timing lights. They get a 5-mile run at the timing lights, and are clocked at the end of 5 miles. Google on Battle Mountain and bicycle races.

That's cute, but if I need to haul my groceries in traffic while grandma is crossing the road in bumper-to-bumper traffic, this fancy bicycle won't do shit. I'm not trying to dump on your invention, but it has very specific limitations of use. Also, in an accident with an 18-wheeler, this bicycle provides the user with no safety because it's designed for speed, and would get crushed faster than an egg under an elephant.
