I just received this in the mail today, and played on it for a few minutes. What I could say for it is that what it gives in odd because not a lot of controllers are shaped like it in other telescopic controllers, it makes it up in ergonomics both in telescopic mode with the cellphone or as a regular controller for any other devices. Overall great controller.

Variable height USB c connection would solve my biggest gripe, telescopic controllers with the phone in the middle are best for comfort as they are far better balanced. However, their biggest drawback is they are typically Bluetooth. Time has proven this to be suboptimal for controllers. Reliable connection, latency, and battery life have always been a problem.
