Caiaphas was a Sadducee not a true Son of Aaron Levitical Kohanim Priest! This is another reason Yeshua came to the earth, not only to become the final atonement for the sins of all people, but to expose the self righteous Pharisees and Sadducees that were ruling the Jews with fear and condemnation.
