Its been a long while since we've seen Ethan. I used to enjoy watching him chase his chickens in the coop and helping with the chores. Ethan is sure growing into a handsome guy. I have never had laughing gas, now I want some! I had the same surgery when I was a kid in prep for braces, but they knocked me out completely with ether.

I had an impacted tooth removed (age 6), with oral surgery, and they stuck in this huge rubber brick in my mouth, to keep me open. I puked it out, and said I would keep my mouth open, as it was choking me. They put me under (no laughing gas - bastards), and I woke up, and mom had my bloody-(^#%#%#%) tooth in a paper wrapper, and I was crying and shocked - and yes it fooking hurt like hell. Later when the adult tooth of the same position came in, also in the same impacted situation, Twist left, twist right, and yank. No pain - amazing. Baby teeth (and young adult teeth) are literally not embedded with all the gum muscles attached to the teeth like adult teeth. Wait till you have impacted wisdom teeth. That will get your attention. Still cant brush in that area that they crammed that rubber brick in my mouth without getting the puke reaction.

Morphine is GREAT!!! When I was passing a kidney stone, the doctor game me morphine. The doctor told me, "You will still feel the pain, you just will not care". So true. La-la land is a very happy place indeed. Love the "Chatty Kathy" bit when you got back into the car. I hope you taped him the next day when the adrenaline and laughing gas wore off.

love it. I had 17 teeth pulled in one day. laughing gas and Vicodin with a refill is the only way go. I went home I was starving order Chinese broccoli beef with no teeth left in my mouth bad idea. but after a minute or two in the bullet blender, it went straight down the hatch. true story. Hope he feels better GOD BLESS
