I agree, there were really only a handful of main characters left in Winterfell when the ending happened. I was expecting them to not even be able to take King's Landing or needing to recruit a new army, or send an assassin (Arya) for Cersei. I was expecting episode 5 to be a recruitment episode and episode 6 to be the final battle. But because they were just so damn lazy they literally just readded dead armies back to the story.

Bronn's position as Master of the Coin is relatively meaningless. With Casterly Rock's gold mines gone dry, the most important region would be Highgarden. @@EvilPumpkin there’s still 2 books left and they will probably be filled with Dany’s traumatic events, people betraying her, people dying, etc... we will slowly start to see these moments effect her more and more. Then in the last book, something big will happen to make her explode and she’ll take her anger out on kings landing, burning the city. And we will probably root for her in a way that we root for the joker, yes she’ll be evil but we can understand where she’s coming from. This is something that has to happen over at least 2 seasons/books, she can’t just turn mad over like 2 episodes - hence why it is so random/out of character in season 8.

Great point. However, it was the Starks with the help of the Vale, Wildlings, Dothraki, Unsullied, the Dragons and Daenerys who saved not only Westeros but, also Essos. May I remind you that the Night King did have a Dragon and could fly anywhere around the world raising their deads and creating dead armies on many continents. Besides, as far as the Southern Kingdoms are concerned, the only army that is capable of fighting a war is Dorne. The last I checked, it was only 10,000. That's it. The Vale army is loyal to the Starks. Riverruns army is loyal to the Starks. The Lannister army has been completely wiped out and whatever is remaining serves under Tyrion who is loyal to the Starks. Whatever is left of The Reach's army now belongs to Bronn. Bronn is loyal to King Bran the Broken. With respect, the southern kingdoms have no choice but to be ruled over by a Northerner. It was the Starks(Jon) who pleaded with the Lords of the North and Cersei to help out with defeating the dead. It was the Starks who defeated the threat posed by the dead that saved the entire world. It is the Starks who are able to put past grievances with foes in order to serve the greater good. Who better than the Starks to rule over Westeros. It's better than being ruled over by Daenerys who has issues with not being loved by her subjects. Bran is the best choice. He can deal with anyone diplomatically because he has their past dealings in his visions. He can also see the present. For example, when dealing with the Iron Bank, Bran will run circles around those guys when it comes to getting loans from them to help rebuild Westeros. Name someone else you think would be a better King or Queen than Bran. Remember, Sansa would be perfect. However, she wants no parts of the South and she is devoted mainly to the North. Again, name someone else you think would be a better King or Queen of the 6 Kingdoms.

Like there‘s so much wrong with the „council scene“, that I‘ve watched e6 two times, watched a 3h podcasts of my favorit asoiaf-youtubers and even 2-3 reviews on it. (yes I have no life and I really love the world of iaf) I keep encountering new things: When Bran gets named and everyone gives their „aye“... until Sansa nopes out.. Like, that also means something for Bran. He‘s now a subject to a hole different kingdom. He’s a northener. An independent northener, and not even anymore a subject to that actual kingdom that decides a king on one of there own ones lol. Like that‘s not how that works, it would immedietly delegetemize his claim and the „aye“s he has got, wouldn’t it? Or does just no one give a fuck, are theyre alread happy with their choice. Do they realise, that this is a freaking coice for a lifetime.. Its already bad, that no onegives a fuck that two Starks are King and Quen. Or heck Sansa going independent in the first place. But realising that he‘s not even a subject to the south anymore, in the exact moment when Sansa’s declaring their independence..... that alone adds the cherry on top, on how absolutly idiotic the writing of this scene is lol sry for bad english

I think it was mainly just an easy way to get rid of Jon, but if Tyrion was serious then bringing back the Night's Watch was a bad idea for a couple of reasons. 1. They have no purpose. Nobody respected the Watch because they didn't believe the White Walkers were real/still around. So they basically became the border patrol, keeping the wildlings out. But relations with the wildlings are better now. They seemed to leave on friendly terms after the battle with the Night King and there are no more Walkers to push them south again. (Plus the little plant shown after Jon and the wildlings go into the forest beyond the wall hints that the climate up there might be warming up.) So are the Northerners and the Six Kingdoms just going to continue sending all of their undesirables up to the wall to harass the wildlings? How much of their resources are they going to be willing to put toward rebuilding the Watch? 2. Who is going to make sure they stay there? It wasn't made clear whether Jon decided to peace out and go live with the wildlings or not. If he stayed with the Watch then would he really allow the new Watch to go back to policing his buddies the wildlings? If they can't do that then that leads us back to number one. Are they going to appoint guards or something? Is joining the Night's Watch just going to mean exile beyond the wall (with a huge hole in it)?

Bran's skill set is actually incredible useful as a king. But the problem is the show failed to even utilise his abilities at all during the last few seasons. Imagine if Bran had helped or advised every single person on that council who elected him and gave valuable advice during the Long NIght. But he never does that. Sitting around being creepy and doing nothing was a waste of his potential.
