As a medical student, he's actually doing a fairly good job at explaining how muscles work. Obviously *very* simplified, and some parts are a bit off, but good for getting the very basics.

@@shinnyart Although, where and how the muscles _actually_ connect would be needed for those who want to make a more informed drawing. Having the knowledge so that you can call upon it when needed is all an artist really does, and if you ever wanted to draw something which included more defined muscles, you could; rather than being stuck in simplification without knowing what's actually there. It's about recollection for usage, can't use something you can't recall.

R.I.P big ounce, the greatest man of all time. I met him way back in ‘07, in the eighteenth century. My skirt caught on fire whilst trying to invent whatever discord is, and he helped me, and showed me the way to the EthanBecker70 community. He later on invented the industrial revolution, to further the development of whatever discord is. Big ounce will live on as Ethan Becker, because as he was also Ethan Becker, so as long as Ethan Becker lives, so will he.

#EthanBecker using ovals instead of favor sided triangles? My man what happened to you while you were gone from youtube so long? Though I like how you use them to show the volume of the depth of the shapes or rather muscles and fat. You did mention it once which made me sigh in relief! That video changed how I approached body mapping and anatomy simplification and your videos more than anything helped me learn how to break down references into bite sized simplified shapes greatly improving my observation skills and implementation. Love your work and always enjoy your humor and lessons. Always happy to see another video from one of my favorite KZbin art teachers!

Gosh yeah the ovals also caught me off guard! That was unexpected character development, but at the same time the oval was quite weighted, so there's still kind of a favoured end. The favour sided triangles were one of the biggest things that made me skyrocket with my anatomy, it's such a limb godsent

Hi Ethan, I really don't expect you to see this, but I've been a member of your Discord server for awhile and recently had to leave because of the uptick in antisemtism that's accepted in the chat. It's something that is known by the moderators, and brought up to the moderators by multiple people who feel uncomfortable by it, and it's completely ignored and allowed to fester. I'm a Jewish artist, I fall under multiple "minorities". I love your work, I love seeing the teachers in your discord, but I don't feel safe posting to your discord anymore. It honestly sucks and hurts to leave because mods don't care when people in your discord praise Hitler and say he did nothing wrong. I just want to post art without having to remember that I'm unwelcome in so many places. I know this isn't your fault, but I wanted to let you know what's happening, and that it's making people (besides me) uncomfortable to post and be active.
