Hi Ethan, Michigan here. Sometimes I get a feeling about a house as you're exploring it. This one feels joyless.

Mother Mary and Jesus painted on the walls in basement appears to a chapel or possibly a prayer room. If the family were from Egypt this is possible. I know an Egyptian family, good friends of mine who have a room such as this in their home… it is a part of their custom to pray several times a day. My guess that is what this room is for… with the cross on the door seen as you first entered the basement leads me to believe this was once the family prayer chapel. Awesome video! Thanks for sharing. I am from Nashville Tn, by the way.

The reflection startled me too 😮 I had to back it up and take another look 😂😂😂😂 I loved all the trees around the yard❤. Didn't like the kitchen abd open concept. Its a really nice house. Curious as to why a garage would be turned into another huge room 🤔. They already had a ton of room. Very nice tour Ethan! Thank you for sharing 😊 watching from Idaho.😊😊
@karrie1377Ай бұрын
Nice big house but something about it was off. Lacked warmth which was perhaps due to lack of sunlight partially made worse with lack of sunlight. Could the second half of large room that had the second fireplace be an addition? Floors did not match and the fireplaces so different. Very small kitchen. Seems like it still could be saved and refurbished just a little. It always makes me sad when nice homes are torn down and wasted. Thanks for sharing this Ethan. Take care be well and stay safe!

Hi Ethan! I have a feeling that house was made to be plain and simple. To me it seemed like it was some sort of relegious compound or church. Not the bedrooms upstairs ... although they were very plain ... I'm thinking the main floor and basement was used for gatherings of many people at a time. Almost like a private religious school. And definitely down stairs would have been the church part of things. Anyway thats just my opionion. It didnt seem to have a homey family feeling to it anywhere. It seemed more like a place of business. Thanks for showing it to us ... Great job as always!🙂

Beautiful house but very blah. Colorless. The kitchen is so tiny you could never fit two people in it at the same time. The basement area was like a shrine.

Ethan! You were quite correct about the garage doors being walled over from the inside, because those long J-shaped metal bars lying on the ground [@1:07]as you were walking in beside the house are the old overhead garage door tracks that they removed and tossed out there during that renovation.
