If you look at it from the top down, it is actually straight. The staircase widens a bit towards the bottom.

Once again, seems like a nice more affordable home that's going to be demolished! Doesn't seem to be a thing wrong with it! Too bad the land couldn't be purchased, the home remains, and townhomes or whatever built on the remaining property? Seems like such a waste!

I think the stair runner is crooked because the stairs have a jog built into them half way up. That's why it is centered at the top.

The carpet on the main stairs is not crooked. The bottom several stairs are wider because they have the railing attached. The space between the carpet and the wall is the same all the way up. At the top you have the same amount of space between the wall and the runner.

Great video Ethan! Shame it was so cold for you! Very nice house and should not be demolished! One of the best for sure! Two of the ceiling fans were interesting,that outdoor heater fan,never seen one of those before,but that leaf fan, they look the part but are absolutely useless in functionality,a friend of mine had one here and got rid of it. Ethan Sweetie, Black never goes out of style. About 70/75 % of my house is decorated in black, but tastefully done. But I totally agree about the rug on the stairs. Wonder if it was from wear from kids if they had 'em? Keep bringin us the good stuff, and be careful & stay safe

So many things to say about this house, besides it being a total shame it will be no more. Very unique but also cool detail in every room. The wood ceiling fan, for one. The subtle cow theme (?). The floor pattern in the basement was interesting. It was fine at first but I think it would make me dizzy if I looked at it for too long. The antique-ish door closet with the mail slot … things that make you go “hmmm”. The bomber plane on the bedroom sky-painted ceiling was pretty awesome. I liked the black sink countertops and tub. And fridge. Cool green color wall paint in a few of the rooms. It was nice to see different colors in the rooms and for it to not be all white or off-white throughout the house, like so many other houses. Just not my thing. Way too sterile and boring. This house is/was a gem. I would have totally lived in it. So much storage space and cabinets galore. Fabulous backyard with great use of space. Just needed some work to fix it up again. Makes me sad to see such a perfectly fine house go to waste like that. And I agree, the townhouse that will take its place will no doubt be overpriced. Oh yeah, this part of the video 14:26 I literally laughed out loud. I definitely know people like that too. Great video, as are all of yours.

This house had a lot of personality. Not huge, but that brick fireplace was awesome! Liked the cow knobs on the kitchen cabinets and the black fixtures in the bathrooms. So sad that it's going to be destroyed.

Nice house . Love the dining room , the kitchen with cow handles , I would move in ,,, but I would turn the " privacy window " back into a door , wich it logically was before , change a few things , black appliances are so 80's ... I had them in those days . 😂 but it's so sad to tear it down . That carpet on the stairs ... being a geometry & math lover , it would drive me up the wall ! Great video . 😎

The stair rug was off centered cause of the upper steps were smaller closed in then the lowered . When you were walking up it showed that it was more narrowed .

The carpet on the stairs seems to go straight up by the same distance on the wall side. It looks off center because the bottom of the stairwell is wider than the top.

For me it's a chandelier if it's large & has long dangling pieces (that sounds funny but i mean like the crystal pieces 😂). I don't like tile counters (🤢) and i would've painted the cabinets a cream colour to match the backsplash but otherwise it was a beautiful kitchen. The copper accents were a nice change, and the window had one of those bumpy things across it that i really like. I've tried pumpkin pie soda before and it was yummy (i love pumpkin pie though). The fan, fireplace, and wood floors were nice features, and i said the same thing about the doorway at the front when you first showed it! I bet it was originally a door and they closed it in at some point. The 'i am Canadian' thing belongs to Molson! Those commercials were great! That basement floor was hurting my eyes... it's too much, but i really liked the plane on the ceiling. I had to laugh when you mentioned having cold fingers--that's normally my thing! I don't think the rug is crooked. It appears the stairway is wider at the bottom. There's a jog in the staircase about half way up .

the only thing about this house that would bug me, is the fridge way over on the other end of the kitchen, not a very good design for efficiency. seems like that would be alot of wasted steps when making meals I would have put it closer to the stove and sink, had I designed it. and the wood floor in the basement made me feel dizzy otherwise awesome house, and again, Sad that it is going to be torn down, its a perfectly good house. corporate greed strikes again .. 😔

Not bad, not great, just meh. It's not that big of a house. The carpet seemed more centered as you get closer to the top of the stairs. That glass door that doesn't open is a total waste. This didn't do much for me at all. I love ya Ethan but pleeease stop using clickbait! You don't need to!! This was not an artist's home and it wasn't a million dollars, it's not even that big.
