What an incredible ending to a wonderful series. It’s insane to think about how far you’ve come and how I’ve seen you go through your journey with the series. The end of Lloyd’s character arc, a happy ending for our ninja, several plot holes finally answered (Zora’s return) and a bright future ahead for the ninja. Wow, that's crazy Lloyd sacrificed himself to stop the solar flares with his oni form, and both he and Nya defeated Kiro and the dark counsel it's also cool to see Zora again and everything is resolved and the rest of the ninja have begun a new life in a new realm and I think Skylor missed Kai as much as everyone

Kiro's biggest mistake was to kill the Overlord and there weren't enough battles for the finale somehow Kiro died too quickly But it's a great movie for the end.

This was something else Ethan, set design, music, photography and dialogue were genuinely fantastic 🎵 📷 🔈. I admit I was surprised how quickly the Crystal council and their thugs were dealt with, that being said action was great and as was the banter during it. Kiro was a very interesting villain, up there was my favourite fan villain besides Yakunan: Samurai of the moon, so you certainly did a good job writing him!.🖤❤️ Lloyd gave him no mercy though 😂. Not like he deserved any. I can certainly respect Lloyd’s choice to stay behind with the world, and I mean there was still remnants of life, a plant, ruins. Perhaps some were able to survive and rebuild, or perhaps that is wishful thinking. Lloyd survived so hopefully he finds some remnants. 💚🍀 Loved the design for the genaseis realm ( though definitely resembles the wyldness ) 💙🩵🖤The moment between Ronin and Cole, and Zane and Neuro made me smile. And I think it’s fitting Colin got the last speech. Have a great day Ethan, fantastic work, be proud, and cya round💛✌️

Thanks so much for your analysis! Kiro killed so many in such brutal ways that I felt it was only right for his own death to be brutal. For a moment there, he did avenge his parents and complete the circle with him being back on the throne. Lloyd’s ending is one I’m definitely leaving up to interpretation, but him “creating” new variants of the ninja in the end is certainly something I’m excited to see theories for. And Collin has been an OC since almost day one, so I figured with how much he’s been through, it would only be right that he closed things out. So, so glad you enjoyed

This was it the perfect ending to this absolutely incredibly amazing Ninjago series i first started watching 5 years ago back in 2019 i can still remember you being sick and being really worrid tbh i originally thought that the Forsaken Kingdom movie was gonna be your series Finale but this was perfect the whole season was perfect the level of writing was on par with the best writing of the show. the sun flares provided a cool and interesting concept and apocalyptic vibe to the season with alot of sand and fire constrainting greatly with the Ice and Snow bibe from your last season. The amount of deaths on this season was brutal it really drove home how irredeemable and ruthless the crystal king is. The lighting was spectacle and always looked beautiful especially the shot with Wu and Garmadon taliking to Lloyd about him using his dark oni form and this scene 3:09 that was probably unintentional but it looked kinda cool 4:45 where Lloyd talks to the first spinjitsu master while Lloyd is slightly glowing green from the buttons and the FSM glowing orange from up top bleeding from holding back the flares and spending his finale moments with Lloyd ( even do he's already dead?) 5:26 this shot with the dead body of Cyrus Borg in the foregroung and Kiro with his Crystal crown and blood red sky really showed kiro's character of well and him ingnoring all the death,screams and destruction really shows his psychopathic nature and how pure evil he is 6:12 Lloyd holfing kiro's energy blast was just straight epic the action in this season was phenomenally amazing too 8:40 all the dead bodys of the S.O.G being staked in flames is REALLY dark just like the entire tone of this season 8:28 also like that Echo Zane and Skylor got an appearance As the flares almost destroyed Ninjago Zora saving the Ninja and some of Ninjago's citizens to the genesis was a nice ending for her character 18:22 i like how Neuro's friendship with Kai and Kai sacrificing himself for Zane lead into a friendship between Neuro and Zane also are you telling me Zane has never eaten? 19:43 from the thumbnail i kinda expected Kai to apper as a ghost here watching over nephew and couod have been wife im sure Skylor got hit as much by Kai's death just like Nya 20:35 thats an AMAZING line to end on the ending was perfect i just wish the final fight was longer and we got some kind of reference to Arin and Sora but as it is it was incredibly it's sad to see your series and many other series end you,Brick filmer,Mike,Mitchell,DTinaglia have all been a big part of my childhood and have all inpired me to fo my own stop motion vids and all of you have ended they're Ninjagoseriesin the past 5 years but hey atleast yours got a perfect ending like the rest THANK YOU ETHAN 💚🫂🥷🌪

Rewatching to properly give you my thoughts. This will probably have no structure because of that, hope you like it anyways lol Opening scene is such a good one, really love the voice for echo and the emotion the scene brings across. But there's one thing really apparent here already that is like the only thing I'd say was bad: Three certain cuts to black😭 Like i feel like a few more seconds with shade's words lingering before the black hits would've definitely elevated the scene. Same goes for the last shot before the "1 year later" and before the "The end" title. Maybe that's a preference but just staying in the moment I feel like would make these scenes even better (going even further, I feel like the "The end" title card would've worked equally good if not better if the text was actually on the last frame). My thoughts on Kai Jr you already know, been giving it some thinking, i feel like (while not perfect) Wyldfyre would've been better because in a way Wyldfyre is sth you can attribute to Kai but still be it's own thing and it's a nod to a different character (though there is the issue of people maybe expecting more then if you start name dropping characters from the ninjago sequel in your final moments lol so definitely not a perfect alternative, just sth I personally would've liked a bit better) Now with all the negative out of the way, this was beautiful in it's entirety. The way you perfectly managed to tie this story together should be studied lol. The fight agains the goons is a stand out to me, especially with Nya activating her elemental form with all the vengestone around, really powerful moment for her, especially as the one who has lost so much. However Lloyd vs Kiro fell a bit flat in the actual fight department, mainly though because your strong suite really is in the writing (I have a similar problem with my own work where the fights end up feeling almost too short because the focus while writing was... well certainly not writing a long fight scene😭) Still the scene excels in character writing and is a fitting end to Kiro. Then the hopefulness as they await their final moments is just spectacular again, same with Sora's return. Now combine that with the absolutely stunning visuals of the Genesis realm and I might go feral. In general the Genesis realm is something I now, with a rewatch, especially appreciate. Not only did you find a perfect solution for them to survive, you also managed to even expand enough on the realms (Mineral storm) that it feels unique but still kept enough a mystery so I don't feel like i need a spinoff about it. Honestly this is just 20 minutes of perfection. Big congrats on actually making it to the end. It was a visually stunning journey with amazing writing! Cannot wait to see more of your work!

Lloyd VS Kiro was meant to be a shorter fight, as this episode was mostly character based, but I get wanting more of a "final battle" vibe out of it. What happened to the First Spinjitzu Master's other son (I think his name was Yin), Nelson and his students? Were they killed by the flares, slaughtered by the Dark Council or have they somehow survived? And will we ever know what exactly happened to Zora alongside what she found?

Students and Dareth died in the flares, their skeletons can be seen at the Monastery in Episode One of Crystal King. And all you need to know about Zora is that she found what she was looking for, but her jealousy had it’s consequences, hence her ghostly form

I've seen many cases where, after spending some time in the cursed realm, the person leaves as a ghost, whether it is from stop motion videos for ninjago, like how Zora is now, or the actual show after Clouse escaped. I don't know for sure, but how long does someone have to stay in the cursed realm to become a ghost?
