These are just beautiful, Sandy - what a great idea! Love your colors & the way you arranged in the frame. These would be wonderful to use as magnets, with magnetic tape backing - great for small gifts. Would also be fun to 'serve' on a framed magnetic surface, so you could arrange & re-arrange the hexagons as the colors please you - which could even be meditative!

This is so cool! I was working on some alcohol ink art, so for the pieces that did not quite work out well, I used my heart dies and captured different pieces-gonna make cards out of them. This is inspiration to do the same for a hexagon card. Thank you for the inspiration and the video!

Tim Holtz has a hand blower that you can use to move the ink and alcohol around
@SandyAllnock14 жыл бұрын
I have one and it doesn’t do what this will do.
@carolinesemple22984 жыл бұрын
Sandy Allnock oh ok. I didn’t know. It came out very pretty all the same. Keep safe

Stunning....great project while we still are grounded! Did you seal them? I've also done square tiles, but these look like more fun. Thought your comment on Pinata colors being harder to work with was interesting... I still have many Tria bottles from years ago and a few Ranger bottles so never looked into Pinata...really no need. So pleased this ink doesn't "go bad" since clearly I bought too many & haven't used them up!
@SandyAllnock14 жыл бұрын
Didn’t seal...if anything happens I can just redo it.

Sandy, you may want to seal them. I learned the hard way -- when my house cleaner dusted it. She had 409 or something on her dusting cloth and it ruined the piece. I'd hate for that to happen to your beautiful piece.
@SandyAllnock14 жыл бұрын
I’ll get to redo them if that happens. More fun. 👍🏻
