Etho, if you put your armor stand on a two-high fence, then the armor stand will fall through the first fence and set atop the second. This will solve the floating scarecrow problem and allow them to be half a block higher!

Etho, you definitely don't give yourself enough credit as a builder. I get it, it's totally much easy (wow) to build underground and make things look nice... but dat tree doe. It's looking good. It ain't no "BDubs with micro blocks" good. But it's a nice vanilla, hand crafted tree.

Etho, to create giant trees easily first build a big trunk like you did then put out a few dirt 'branches' towards the top and plant saplings at the end of the dirt branches. Once you bone meal the saplings remove the dirt branches, replace them with log ones and remove most of the trunk from the grown trees that will be hanging down and add a few more leaves. Only takes 5 minutes at most because most of the hard work (placing the leaves) is done automatically for you. They look pretty sweet as well and can be easily made as big or small as you want.

A design I did in my old world for a storage retrieval used "named" paper, so if I wanted diamonds I would put in a piece of paper named "diamond" and after a minute of cycling and processing I would get 16 diamonds

Nate Mleziva I had a ton of hoppers in a line and every couple would have a hopper underneath that was filled with paper named for whatever item it represented, it would then suck up the paper I put in, give off a signal, remove the paper and set off 16 pulse timer to a despencer that would throw the items in to a stream of water on ice, and arive at where I inputed the paper.

It's binary, that's what he means by "Bit" which is "binary digit". There's 8 levers which from left to right is 128, 64, 32, 16, 8, 4, 2 and 1. To make any number higher than 128 you would just do the math and use the right levers.

Jones2max that is how binary works, going up to 9 levers takes 9 bits, and 1 byte is only 8 bits, meaning it only goes up to 128 (though all the numbers add to 255)

For some (almost) infinite storage, put a rail on top of a hopper, and then storage minecarts (you can put a lot of them on top without getting any lag). Then as soon as the chest below the hopper has space, it gets refilled with the items in the storage minecarts. Also, if you link each of the eight levers to two colors (on and off) you can remember it _much_ more easily.

Seeing the start of the Nexus vs how the Nexus is now. It blows my mind. Do a build compilation (i.e Day 1, have a picture, Day 3, have a picture, Day 15, have a picture.) That would really put how much work you did in perspective.

First thought on how to organize the levers: Have it be a series of ever-shrinking categories. Blocks vs. Items, Crafted vs. dropped, Edible vs. not edible, Consumable vs. not consumable, and so on and so forth until there's only one possible item it could be. You have 8 possible divergences up on that mockup right now, which as you said gets you 256 items.

Etho, if you had done 3 item frames with comparators out the back to adjust how far the red stone signal goes you would have eight options per frame. Making a total of 512 combos with 5 less dials to control. So small display, big power.
