Etho, few things: The tinkers stuff is located in the small factory building with a two wide chimney. There's a spawner in the high oven, watch out. Make sure you check upstairs in the tinkers and pneumatic buildings as there's good loot too there. Also the elevators you found were pneumatic craft elevators not the open blocks ones you were thinking of. To easily planting the creeper plant seeds and others just use an item dropper from openblocks, it drops accurately. Also, you can use the watering can on them too. A good food to aim for is bacon mushroom burgers. You only need rice, soybeans and white mushrooms. You can get rice and soya from using the mattock on grass and the white mushrooms from bonemealing grass. Then you can just get rid of all other crops as the mushroom burger is not affected by diminishing returns. It also restores a lot of hunger and saturation. The pressure is measured in bar, btw. Put 8 redstone on the floor between the gauge tube and the compressor and set the compressor to only be active when it's got a low signal, and it will automatically turn off when it reaches 4 bar - preventing explosions. When you have a smeltery setup you can duplicate seared brick by putting a cobblestone in the crafting basin and pouring seared bricks over it. It uses very little, about 8mb, and the seared cobble you get can be melted back down in to seared bricks. Nice video btw;)

Personally I think the best thing you can make it the juicer. The saturation from the juices drinks you get last quite a while, and the juicer is really easy to make. All you need is a stone pressure plate and a piece of stone, and the juice you get is better than eating the fruit alone.

First i smelted stone(stone from dirt,dust) in a crucible to get liquid seared stone, the i pored that over cobble until i had enough to make a basic tinkers smeltery, then i placed some seared cobblestone in the smeltery pored that over cobble, and automated it so the seared cobble went into the smeltery again since one seared cobble will give 2 new seared cobble if it's smelted and pored onto new cobble, i also took some of the seared cobble to increase the size of the smeltery.

Also you can either sift dirt or bonemeal grass to get more seeds, also use the watering can to speed up the spread of grass.

Hey Etho, I've never commented on a video before, but I love your videos, always have. You had an attempt with an Enderman in this episode, but you had your needlegun with you. Unlike a bow and arrow, you CAN use your needlegun to kill an Enderman. That'll be important, because a quest will pop up soon where you need to kill 10 endermen. Etho, your watering can works on pretty much every crop in the game. From dirt->grass to saplings. What it does is, it re-ticks 3x3 blocks quicker than it normally updates. So it's as if the block is going through time quickly.

The pressure gauge is measuring atmospheres of also known as Bars. The pressure gauge emits a redstone signal with a strength equal to 2x the pressure currently in the chamber. You can use this to automatically turn off the chamber when it has enough pressure in it. The air compressor can be set to either work on no signal, a strong signal, or ignore redstone completely via the redstone tab. it is set to ignore redstone signals by default.. The creeper plant seeds are ready right before they hiss and explode. You will get 2 from the plant if you harvest it then. other pneumaticraft seeds are similar and you can automate it with Steve's Factory if you want. I am enjoying the series keep up the good work.

The tinkers stuff is in the other factory building you found, with the blue spire on top rather than the orange caution stripe one. The other buildings arent too important, mostly junk. Think i scavanged like 50 of them till i found something of note, which was a green heart, and hundreds upon hundreds of dust/cobwebs/dye/bottles lol

When farming the pneumaticraft seeds for plastic - Only one of the growth states of the plants will always yield extra seeds. To tell when the plant is at the correct state, look at the number followed by the colon in the block description box, when at a 13 and broken, the plant will always yield 2-3 seeds. When mature, the plants only rarely yield extra seeds.

Etho you can make more seared bricks by putting cobble in a smeltery. The trick is to place cobblestone in the smeltery, then when it melts place cobblestone in a block casting basin. Then pour the seared stone in to make seared cobblestone. Seared coblestone gives you double. So 1=2=4 and so on. You can use these to build up the smeltery or melt them to make bricks using the ingot cast or making seared stone block then using a tinkers chisel on it to make it look cooler. Spread the word

Etho, you can double your seared brick by pouring liquid seared brick over cobblestone. Making seared cobble needs 1 cobble and 72mb of liquid seared brick, but gives 144 mb of liquid seared brick when melted back. Hope this helps, really enjoying the videos :D

Etho, bonemeal the grass and get a large variety of seeds and sapplings. You were also going one to far on the bonemeal for the creeper plant seeds then break it like a normal plant before the sizzle. Finally, if you right click the grape seeds or any other crop then it will be more efficient the crop will stay at 50% growth and you can turn any of the crap into the seeds. Keep up the great videos!

There is a way (although laborious) to make seared bricks without the grout, and without having to go to the city. - Melt the little stones (the ones you combine to get a cobblestone) in a Crucible to get liquid Seared Stone. (You'll need about 11 stacks of them to get what you need) - Use a liquiduct to pipe it into the Casting Table with the Ingot Cast. - Make just enough to complete the quest, which will give you a few more. - Continue pouring Seared Stone over Bricks this time to make the High Oven. - Use the High Oven to cook Cobblestone into Seared Stone. - Use that to complete your smeltery. Also, if you make a cobblegen using the Liquid Pyrotheum, it'll make smooth stone instead of cobble. If you break smooth stone with a hammer, you get a bunch of the little stones. Much better than sifting stuff to get 0-4 at a time.

Hey Etho, two things~ First, try to use two normal water bottles, and one salt water bottle when refilling the camel pack, I don't know if it will cause any negative effects or if it will even work, but the idea is that it would dilute it and maybe help get you water, that is if you're still struggling for it. And second, it makes sense that juice wouldn't hydrate you, because juice is a sugary water, and like salt water, sugary water can dehydrate you more than regular water would, so you'd either break even (like you did) or get the effects the salt water had. Also, it might not be food, but you'd still get more nutritional value out of it than hydration, which makes sense why it fills up your hunger and not your hydration. Liking these videos, Hope to see more of this and TerraFirmaCraft in the future! (I really like that one)

Etho the seared bricks are found in the buildings with a chimney, but the ones containing them have a 2x2 chimney, also each building with a chimney has a second floor with a spawner and loot. Remember to check inside 3x3 structures for spawners, i'd recommend taking golden bags of holding with you if you are going to go on a looting adventure

Great video Etho! I love crash landing. By the way, if any of you think having 1 life is hard, I have a solution! Here it is, step by step. 1. When in the world, do /hqm hardcore 2. go into creative and give your self "Full Heart" keep right clicking it until it says full. 3. After this, you can die 20 times and then it deletes the world. Just remember to refill it again after a while of deaths :p Hope this helped

I just discovered something that gets you a great variety of food in Crash Landing! Sift dirt until you get a Grass Seed. Then, make a plane of dirt blocks somewhere (such as up in the air next to your platform), give it light, and plant the seed. The watering can will make the grass spread staggeringly quickly. Once the dirt is all covered in grass, use bonemeal on it, and you'll get all sorts of fancy tree saplings and berry bushes magically appearing! Hope this helps!

Hey Etho, I was started a survival world in 1.8 and put in the seed juuf. As I was going around I found a giant island that was floating. It was pretty cool and thought you might wanna check it out. The seed again, was juuf, and the cords to the island are roughly -1150 193 3100

Etho , I have found a really good way of killing mobs and upgrading your tools(it is really easy too).You just have to clear the outside area in front of the cockpit and then replace one of the dark glass blocks with a slab (you could use the crafting slab when you begin the game).By doing this you can attract mobs at night because they see you through the empty space and then you can easily kill them.This can be useful for endermen too , because you can attract them and they will teleport outside of the ship because the cockpit is 2 blocks high.Hope this helps :).

You can farm the plastic seeds pretty quickly if you bonemeal it twice, then break it. Put some walls around it so the seeds always fall on the same dirt block, so they pile up and replant instantly. When you're done, just pick up all the seeds on the dirt block.

Few tips, for seeds, you can bone meal them twice instead of three time, then break them, they'll drop 1-2 seeds without any effect (apply to all seeds). At city, the ones with chimney that you did not enter have smelter and high oven blocks inside. Making a mob trap first, since almost all loots from them can be compost to dirt. Water under 50y would be dirt water instead of salt water. So you can just cook them and no need to use saplings or leaves (this is a feature not bug). While using bottles on etching acid would gives unlimited drinkable water (this is not intended).

1. Make apples your main food source. There are several things to make from them and the easy-to-make tools from Harvestcraft. You can make a sapling by putting an apple and an oak sapling together in a crafting table. They grow incredible fast, especially when you have 20+ trees. 2. The PneumaticCraft seeds are supposed to be broken at the stage where they are they thickest, before they smoke. They always give more than one seed back when done this way.

Oh Etho, you decided not to go into the building which has the seared bricks etc (the one with a different chimney) be aware - these have 3 spawners on the bottom floor (two in corners and one in the middle of high oven - the brown one) and you might want to check out upstairs too, as there can be useful stuff also + make a golden bag of holding, it can be useful :P + harvest crops with right click + kill the water near grass and then use mattock on it to get a lot of seeds, also use watering can on the grass later to help it spread faster + and try to make a Drum, it holds 256 buckets of water, so it's waaay better than a portable tank + make another camel pack (or two) for your trip to the city, don't have to bother with bottles then ;)

My advice for food: Taffy. You can use water to make salt, and then you can use that salt along with more water and sugar to make a piece of taffy, which restores 1 bar of food. Basically, once you have renewable water, you can make Sugar into Taffy on a 1:1 ratio. Its very convenient, and gives plenty of food.

Etho you should really build a wall with all your cobble. You have near death experiences every episode and I am really loving this series and don't want it to end. But if it does end as in you died, can you replace using the easy path? That way you get a free shell constructor so 1+ life.

just a little tip with the watering can, what it does is accelerate games tick, which means that it works on sugar cane, seeds, grass (for spreading) and even spawners.
