Etho, you should give each minecracker a "locker" to store their stuff in for the arena. You should also make a system, like the death games, that cylcles through special rules for arena matches that take place while they are selected. Something with a name like basics (wood and leather gear only), sniper dual (bows only), witch war(potions), and/or perspective (f3 if I recall correctly).

I like the idea of having it above the point. That way its able to be triggered from anywhere on the map (within bow range) instead of just having to be near by. Also maybe instead of just firecharges you can include food or arrows to change it up. That way there is way you might accidentally buff the other team or something. maybe a couple potions too

Etho! For kill streaks if your thinking about it, you could have like "Dog tags" (Wool named and coloured to there team) and give them out to the players. When you respawn, you get another one. At your base could be a hopper which you throw the Dog Tags in to activate kill streaks! Just an idea :)

I feel like the thing above the capture point should have a variety of things. And the team below could get hit by a dmg pot, fire, or even a regen. Just so that it's not all sadness on a capture point. Would be interesting if you could make it randomized.

Etho. I believe if you put a iron pressure plate above the lamps you can trigger it by shooting the lamp.(unless that was a bug that got patched) it would give a bigger target than the buttons!

Gallios Part of the joy of Ethos creations and vanilla survival minecraft is working with limitations. Honestly, there's a million of those things you're describing using command blocks and even plugins. Why does he want to create just another of a million? I love the fact that these guys work with their limitations and create something special... something that anyone can make in survival minecraft. If they had command blocks, they might as well just get plugins. None of their stuff would be as original. The joy of these creations is the creative ways you solve problems. Like using pumpkins on skeletons to keep them from despawning and make survival armies. The creative ways that they make these things happen is what really makes it special. If he had command blocks, he might as well just play COD. It's no longer original, and a million others have made the same map using command blocks. As long as he's working with limitations, everything is creative and original. I hope you see my point here.

All I said was that if he had command blocks in this, he could basically build the game he built in FTB. Which was a cool game, this game will still be good obviously. The "zombie split" at 22:16 was the backup function being called and checking for a random block within a 40 block radius of the zombie which had the light level of 10 or less. The game found a block which met the requirements and also happened to be the same block the zombie was on. Therefore it looked like it split after receiving the finishing blow.

One of my favorite survival challenges I've tried was a slightly modified world that was edited to not generate stone. It was really interesting to see how things actually looked. The only way to get cobble was a natural cobble generator and mining was a lot of fun.

ETHO, for the kill streaks, every player should hold 1 gold nugget or any other item. the players should also fill their inventory with cobble besides their actual weapon so they don't pick up items BTW. with the gold coins, they get one for kill of course because each player has one... in the map there should be little shops to spend your kill coins and get extra items for the nuggets. Etho you should put a wooden pressure plate on top of all the lights on the thing above the capture point that way it will trigger if the arrow hits anywhere on the top half of the lamp so it will be easier to hit and then make it drop instant damage potions and poison potions instead of the fire

Hey Etho, For kill streaks you could give everyone an item custom to their team in everyone's inventory. Once someone gets killed, the killer will have the other team's "Currency". You could then set up a hopper contraption to dispense a kill streak (a good sword or bow) at each teams' spawn based upon how much "Currency" is put in to the contraption.

So, the kill streak thing. You could do a team-based Kill streak. Whenever a member of a team dies and respawns, they hit a pressure plate leaving, adding one 'count' to the opponent's kills. If a member of the opposite team dies and exits the spawn, they reset their team's kill count. If a certain amount of the enemy team dies in succession, activating the pressure plates on respawn, the opposing team gets some sort of reward. Perhaps a Beacon gets activated at their spawn with a buff?

Instead of just having fire charges in the despensers make a randomizer so it could shoot fire charges, poison, health, instant damage. if you do that then there could be a chance to heal who ever is on the point.

When you were getting attacked by all those mobs during your 'shopping' time, it was pretty much what Walmart was like on Black Friday xD well going by a video I saw of some idiots literally fighting over stuff! But yeah, it was funny when you were like 'oh c'mon two in a row!' and then a third creeper blows up in your face and makes the hole outside the shop worse hahaha!
