It should never have been added to many water systems. Please help north America prove that, while topical application may have benefits, it shouldn't be. Studies for drinking water are class B and C, largely done 45+ years ago, and only 3 would have been considered conducted properly.

the world needs a diy membrane to remove Fluoride, the commercial ones that I have looked into are expensive and saturate pretty quickly. I suspect what this involves is converting milk to casein, dispersing this as nano-protein in solution with a transition metal salt, forming a complex there-of, then agglomerating this into a membrane.

You can buy a reverse osmosis system, or a water distiller. They both remove fluoride to my knowledge.

Water distillation creates acidic water that is essentially lifeless for the body. That is not an option. Reverse osmosis is the only option, and it's not a great option, because of how much water it wastes, and this inventor is not going to sell households in the US an inexpensive device to filter fluoride out of our water. If he did, he would be one of the most unique human beings who has ever walked the earth

If no water filter in the shower, cold showers don’t open the pours to your skin and get fluoride in. So cold showers is the way to go in my opinion!

The UK government want more powers to dump rat poison in our water supply, the UK has around 6 million drinking fluoride right now, I may have to buy a fluoride water filter if my area gets fluoridated :( problem, reaction, solution, thank you our poison overlords.

I think the reason fluoride was ever accepted for the teeth is that in natural sources where it is found, it is also found with dissolved calcium. Fluoride naturally combines with other minerals, and calcium combination, calcium being the major reason for any enamel strengthening, was in some cases seemingly beneficial.. it is the calcium, not the fluoride, as I have found calcium toothpastes to actually work with my teeth.

I never understood why fluoride and different kinds of fluoride acids are added to drinking water. They are byproducts of phosphate, fertilizer, production. Yes, fluoride may have been shown as beneficial to prevent dental caries, but consuming fluoride makes bones brittle, aren’t teeth, bones? What concerns me most is these chemicals traveling through different pipes at different levels of deterioration what chemical processes take place as the water flows through the city water system? They always report water analysis from the source, but nobody ever publishes actual water analysis with the end-user out of the tap. I believe there is a reason for this because we would all panic. Growing up on a will, and now living in the city, I notice I do not feel clean when I take a shower. The water just feels different and smells and taste bad. But if your skin is the largest organ on your body in the most effective way to absorb chemicals , is it dangerous to shower in city water in the United States? I think it is.

Which option will the government choose. A/ No Fluoride, working age taxpayers may get ill due to dental problems and not contribute to the system. B/ Put Fluoride in the water and let people suffer the consequences later on in life when they no longer contribute to the system. mmmmm I wonder.

In Norway if you want fluoridated water for your teeth you buy it by the litre at a chemist. You only swill it not swallow it. The main water supply has no fluoride because Norwegians believe it is a human right to NOT be forcibly medicated without your consent. There is a Lord in Belgium whose fortune has been made by selling fluoride for drinking water supplies throughout the world. He should be arrested.

I tried to ask my local municipal water authority about fluoride Contant, and specifically which type of fluoride was added either an acid phosphate. Iron compound. There are different types. It’s definitely not sodium fluoride at all and that is the only one that is good for your teeth on contact. The only responses I’ve ever received referenced data and studies prior to the Cold War era, this is in the United States. They reference studies from the 1960s that have nothing to do with consumption just contact. Even their language “dental caries“ we have called them cavities For half a century now. I believe it is extremely nefarious and some thing if people actually knew the trees would really panic. As a hobby, I’m trying to find the best way to make water to shower with. Should I start with municipal supply, polluted, creek, water, or rainwater that has fallen on asphalt shingles? It seems it’s easier to start with polluted resources, then municipal supply that is ridiculous. Access to non-toxic potable water is going to be a subject of contention in the near future. As soon as we can quantify realize, and understand the severity things will be very bad as clean, drinking water will become a resource with an extremely high value and limited supply. At least we can drink the water sometimes without being poisoned immediately. What disgust me the most is that we take nice, clean spring water and turn it into a chemical solution. Potentially toxic than chemicals are added, and sent downstream people using watershed’s that have been used dozens of times over the chemicals only growing in quantity, and possibly reacting with one another along the way. I would really like to see a study of drinking water from the tap compared to the same water at the source.

Hello. Anyone out there know what the best filters are up to date? They may be putting barium as well as other halides in our water. If you have worked inside the industry recently - any ---- input would be greatly appreciated. There may be some supressed filtration technologies at this point. Again, any information would be appreciated. Does colloidal silver help? This monster has to be put to an end. --- And remember, there are two ways to cure a pollutant: dilute it by reversing the effects (real medicine intake), and filtering it.

colloidal silver doesn't help anything, it poisons you, also, as you said, diluting chemicals can remove effects, which is why they only have very diluted chemicals in water, enough to kill bacteria in the water, but nothing our livers can't easily handle.
