I think that is something Etihad needs to focus on if they will compete with Emirates or Qatar. That is the first encounter of passengers to your company. It should be a great experience and not one that leaves people wondering if they made the wrong choice.

@@ThePanzoAdventuresexactly. Also what you mentioned about the treatment in Economy vs Business/First is something that should be different: courtesy should be key. I don’t fly Latam Airlines if I can avoid it, they made my first ever business class flight a horrible experience nearly 20 years ago, and their economy treatment is just as bad. But I’ll happily fly Swiss, Lufthansa, Virgin, American, Cathay Pacific in Economy (I can only imagine what their business level is like!)

When you take the video of this flight? Because you're departing from the old terminal at that time when the airport operational are before relocating to the current Terminal A.

This flight was just few days before opening the new terminal. Also, they have just opened the US bound flights in the new terminal.

The check-in agents were "meh" as well when I flew this. Also, I had a less than stellar experience in the lounge. Glad yours was better.

Yeah… it’s weird how they treat their customers. At Doha, the experience was top of the line in comparison to Abu Dhabi. But I have heard of better experience at the newer terminal.
