Great interview. As Mr. Sanyal pointed out, the press should really go after all those guys who predicted a slow growth for India. They need to be brought to account. It is very easy to insinuate, and then disappear, leaving responsible people to defend their position. Another plank on which India should build its future is health and fitness. We need to take physical fitness and sports to every small town and village.

And agriculture reform. We can't expect for a fast developing pace with socialist erra laws in agriculture. The sad part is when it comes to nation, the opposition forgets all morals. They opposed the farm laws when Congress itself had them in there 2019 menefesto. And even BJP repealed them to garner votes.

Independent and sovereign Bharat is privileged and fortunate to have the great and visionary leader in Shri Narendra Modi who have inspired all sections and ages of the nation thru your good and people centric governance. In fact it is an unprecedented fact that millions across the globe watch and follow him in various electronic platforms on a day to day basis to stay inspired and motivated. Modi model of governance is unique in the world and the bench mark set in this regard is unparalleled . The nation under the most popular global leader who have surpassed his global competitors by miles have successfully defended the biggest and most challenging pandemic in 100 years parallely extending the helps to many other nations in their vaccination drive. Modinomics have made the nation the "bright spot " among the ailing global economy and in the regressive global scenario, as endorsed by the credible global rating agencies. Our nation is the fastest growing economy of the world which has soared to the position of fifth largest economy of world in last 10 years and also predicted to be the third largest economy during Modi 3.0. The *G20* presidency of Bharat has set a new bench mark in terms of its organizing with historic decisions facilitating for the India Middle East Europe economic corridor which is a game changer in its objective. Speed and scale of infrastructure developments in last ten years in the form of roads, railways air and water ways has been incredible and mind boggling . The freight corridors, industrial corridors and the defense corridors have paved way for generating numerous job for the youth . Electronic and defense exports are at record high. The *GDP* has doubled in the last ten years and crossed the 4 trillion mark. The Star raised in Gujarat is now the Global Super Star from Bharat. Global acceptance and respect for Bharat and the Indian diaspora is at all time high. The nation have also witnessed adventurous yet meticulous and safe rescue operations of citizens of Bharat from war and war like situations. Modi governance has broken the barriers and conventional mindset of caste appeasement and rescripted it as governance for the welfare of poor, women, youth and farmers of the nation. Our nation has come out of extreme poverty in the past ten years which is stupendous for the nation with a population of 140 crores. Various welfare schemes for all sections of society have given big relief including women and farmers. Progress in human development index (HDI) is hailed by the united nations recently. It's of immense happiness and pride that *Modi 2.0* is concluding with the flag of Bharat magestically flying high and also confirming *Modi 3.0* with a historic and unprecedented mandate reinforcing the nation's pursuit to become *Visit Bharat @ 2047* as envisaged by Honorable PM.🙏🏻

Private Consumption growth is only 3.5%, it's dragging economy down..what about that?

Modi government has to bring back Farm Reforms allowing farmers to sell their produce in free market and do contract farming. Additionally crop insurance needs to be regulated and made popular to protect farmers from losses due to natural calamities. These changes will also bring private investment in building cold supply chain in India. Then majority of farmer's income will grow multi-fold and this will boost private consumption growth to unprecedented levels. In any case, interest rates will be reduced in FY 2024-25 which will boost private investments as well as consumption. This part is cyclical. RBI cannot cut rates till US Fed and ECB cut rates otherwise rupee will weaken and inflation will shoot up.

consumption wont grow much till 2030. Real wages will remain stuck and wont grow much for 90% Indians. Rich income will grow a lot. The design of economic growth we r now following r totally investment driven. i m talking abt 2030 becoz COVID effects and Transition to this new model will get stabilize by then. Also World will again come out of recession. And Indian industrial capacity and exports will be quite good by 2030. So after than Probably consumption will also start to grow due to Growth of real wages. Also govt will follow strict fiscal discipline so again a factor which wont allow real wages to grow much

What about Gross Value Added (GVA)? India's GDP growth is mostly driven by increased government expenditure through borrowing, rather than private expenditure. The unemployment rate remains high, and there is a lack of investment in quality education. The government has also failed to conduct a census for a long time. Some politicians continue to act shamelessly despite these issues.
@sarojeetdash
@sarojeetdash 3 ай бұрын
GVA= GDP- Subsidies +Taxes GVA is lower because of reduction in subsidies (mainly fertilizer subsidy because of reduced international natural gas prices). Tax collection has also increased because of GST collection efficiency. Increase in tax rate is bad but increase in efficiency is good. Yes, govt expenses have increased funded by increased tax collected as well as debt but they're spending on tangible infrastructure (mainly roads and rails) more than freebie schemes. This will reduce logistics cost and foster private investments. Government is also spending a lot on defense justified by our aggressive neighbor China. But I broadly agree with you on the investment in education argument. That's need of the hour.

india's fiscal deficit has come down, means that "increased government expenditure through borrowing" is factually wrong. Govt, has reduced subsidies and instead focused on cap ex. This is the prudent decision.
@agnosticatheist4093
@agnosticatheist4093 3 ай бұрын
@@Apocalypse9696 Not necessarily. A reduction in the fiscal deficit doesn't always mean a decrease in government expenditure. In fact, the Capital Expenditure Outlay for India in the financial year 2024-25 is being increased by 11.1% to ₹11,11,111 crore. This increase is part of the government's efforts to stimulate economic growth and employment creation. Additionally, the total expenditure is estimated to grow by 6% over the revised estimate of the previous year. So, while the fiscal deficit has reduced, the government is still increasing its expenditure, particularly in capital projects.

Why Sanjeev Sanyal is not our PM? I understand all the arguments against Congress, the left, and the Mughals and whatnot. But then again why not a guy like Mr Sanyal or even Nitin Gadkari? 10 years of power. What Mr Modi is waiting for? How many terms did it take for Narasimha Rao? A freaking minority government remember.

Can Gadkari help BJP win seats outside Maharashtra? Plus economy is not the only thing which is important. Defense, law and order, health, education, foreign policy are all important. Don't think Sanjeev wants to be in politics. Why should Modi leave when he still can contribute in a big way? He is one of the biggest strengths of BJP. Why would BJP give it up?

We Indians are so emotional , that one good understand at things and we see them at PM. Remember , PM is a leadership position and how you utilize the technical masters like Sanjeev, nitin or ashwini or jayshankar is what PM suppose to do. Management and Techicality are two different thing. Remember , Bill gates doesn't do coding anymore. He leads and run the company.
