Half the butter to biscuit is the best ratio so eg 300g biscuits and 150g butter!

MrBGS0282 There are some stores that have plain dried (not freeze dried) strawberries, which have the texture of those in strawberry ice cream. I doubt they would work in the cheesecake filling, but they would probably do well enough on top (they still have some moisture).

Yes, it's a fairly common culinary practice. Here in Argentina you can even buy bags of those in the supermarket (not quite as fancy as Nadiya's but meringues nevertheless)

I think she meant by cool oven a 100 degrees Celsius oven, which is usually the temperature for baking the meringues.

Mystic Moonstone it's obviously her style and her twist of making this specific recipe! She's not going to come in with completely different unheard desserts and recipes no one has had as she's not a food discoverer or new food creator 😂 She's a bake off winner! No bake off winners have created their own completely different unheard foods! The purpose is to take traditional recipes and add their own styles to it and alter them to their standards like they did in the great British bake off if you've even watched it!
