Hi everyone, it's Evangeline, and today we have the Front Runner Expander Camping Chair. We're gonna take a look at how it works and talk about some of its features right here at etrailer.com. This is going to be a heavy duty chair, weight capacity 250 pounds. And it quickly folds up to make it easier to transport. So we're gonna talk about some of its features. Let's start with setting it up as a chair.
This has a carry handle to make it easier to transport. But when you're ready to open it up, we have two hook and loop straps that we're gonna undo, one in the center, and one in the side. Then we're going to lift up by the carry handle. That expands the chair upwards. Then we're gonna push it out to the side, and then lift up our armrest.
So we're gonna turn this around, and sit down. Front Runner accessories always are high quality, and you can see it in the chair as well. This is made of steel. So the frame is gonna be strong and sturdy, but you also have this coat on it, just so that it maintains its ruggedness. We have this durable canvas material, on most of the chair, except for the pockets and the back.
Here for the back rest, we have this mesh, which I enjoy. Because then that keeps me cool, even during the hot summer days. As we're sitting in the chair, you can see how this whole design works together, for a very durable chair. And I feel very supported, when I sit here, I can even lean back against that backrest, and slouch, and be comfortable. There is a little bit of movement on the armrest for side to side, which I'm not the biggest fan of.
But when you're just sitting and relaxing and chilling, this feels good. On the side of the chair, we have different pockets, so one pocket is gonna be our media storage pocket. This is gonna be where you can put your phone, your gadgets, your devices. My phone actually fits perfectly in there. And then we have our cup holder pocket. So this is gonna be great for your soda can-sized cans or bottles. As for bottles, since it is on the shallow side, we have different experiences. If it's gonna be a cylindrical bottle like this, this fits pretty well, if this was kind of full though, it might be a little too top heavy. As for my mug shaped bottle, not as ideal. This definitely would be something I wouldn't use with this type of a bottle. On the other side, you have this larger pocket, so this is gonna be great for if you have a book you wanna read in the meantime, maybe some maps or some guides, you can store them right here. There is a top flap that has a hook and loop patch. And that way maybe your smaller items, whether it's your keys or your sunglasses, they can be stored safely. For your seat dimensions, with it unfolded, this is going to be 17.5 inches wide. And then for the length, which is armrest to armrest, it's gonna be 20.5 inches. Now that does not include the space it will take up, when you have the pockets and things in the pockets. For seat height, which is from the seat to the top, that's going to be 17 inches, giving an overall height of 31 inches. Compare that to your compact version. So it's still gonna have that 17.5 width. But you can see it's a lot thinner at 2.4 inches. And then for your height, it's gonna be 16.4 inches. So big difference there. That's the measurement or the space that you're gonna need to remember if you're trying to figure out where you're going to store this. In fact, speaking of storage, you do have the Expander Storage Bag. This is available for a single seat, or for two chairs. That way if you need to stack them together, awesome, if you need to just carry one and make sure it's protected, you can use this single bag. I personally really enjoy the dual bag, just because it's so much more helpful, compared to having to carry both of them by the straps. So I've been looking for some camping chairs for my next adventure. And here at Etrailer, we do have some different options, so I was looking at some Kelty camping chairs. Those are also going to be premium chairs with a lot of the similar features, like cup holders. They're available in different sizes as well as different designs. The main difference for those, though, is that they fold up the traditional way a camping chair does, versus our chairs from Front Runner. The Expanders fold up into this really interesting square design. So if you have a set of two chairs and you're using a storage bag, I think that would be an awesome way to go. It's easier to store t
