I have these on my half ton and they work really good. Other than maybe going over speed bumps they don't affect ride quality at all when unloaded. When towing they reduce sag, bounce and just give a more stable feeling. Obviously not a substitute at all for a well set up distribution hitch but a really good inexpensive add on for sure.

I added these to my Ford F350 Super Duty with a CM Flatbed for the purpose to aid the suspension when towing my 5th wheel. Mine is the bolt on but mine is also in constant contact with the axle. Wish mine was an inch above the axle.
