You did an excellent job from start to finish. Having been an instructor you embellished properly on all safety aspects as well as proper torque numbers, bolt configurations, and component placement. You have what it takes to be a good technical instructor. Well done!

Superb installation video, and an excellent quality product. I wonder why there is not a stability channel going from the left to the right shock/slipper drop bracket?

why would you use wet bolts bolts with the greases fitting and NOT use the bronze bushings for the wet bolt kit?

You always do a great job explaining why things are done and in what order. Do you have a service dept. that installs things for customers?

How well does this system handle tight turns? Seems like some of the weak points when backing into camp spots are the leaf hangers. Would this change any of those issues, or just the same as before. I’m kind of leaning towards the “Silent Ride” system to completely remove the leafs.

Since the slipper spring is specialized should folks purchase a spare?

If your travels don't take you too far off the beaten path, you most likely will be good unless you hit a pothole. This being said, if it's something you're concerned about, there's no reason not to pick up a replacement spring if you have the space to stash it somewhere. Just remember, leaf springs are fairly heavy.... www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Suspension-Parts/Roadmaster/RM-2460-2570.html

Question, I have a 2017 Coachman Freedom Express 276RKDS and tires hit wheel well if a big bump. I can assure you we are not overweight but not light either. We drive to Fl for the Jan-end of March winter and in the last few years that is all we use it for. What system would you recommend that would be the most cost effective based on the limited use. Thank you for your expertise and time.

Does this increase ride height of the trailer at all? I’m looking for a way to lift my fifth wheel slightly and wondering if I go from 3.5k springs to 4k springs if it would accomplish that. Thanks!
@etrailer2 жыл бұрын
This is not a good way to lift a trailer. If you increase the spring you will just make the ride more stiff and uncomfortable. Check out this page that talks about axle lifts. It would be wise to flip the axle if you just need a few inches. www.etrailer.com/explore/Axle+Lift+Kit

Other than the shocks you took off a much better suspension system. System can no longer equalize the pressure on each axle.
