Edmonton is a couple of years behind in bus technology. in BC translink started rolling out this so called smart bus technology in 2007 and got rid of the same type of paper transfers that ets uses back in the late 90's early 00's.

Why is it University Transit "Center"? It should be centre.

So do you have smart fare boxes yet? Lethbridge has had them for a while and Red Deer just got them. We still need to get the cards though. They are coming in November.

+Roger Kreil ETS is leading the Smart Fare regional project, which recently secured funding. 2018 target start that accepts CC and debit cards.
