Thanks DigitalX! I'm learning so much with your tutorial. Hopefully you can also make some tutorial for the following topics 1. adding images to a model (like editing photos in bilboards) 2. Importing Models (from base or other mods) and modify it and export to make it a new model scs. I think a lot of future map modders are looking for this kind of tutorials also :) Keep sharing brother!

There's always more tutorials. Adding images/replacing textures of default models I can do. As well as the 2nd one. I'll look into doing that this week or next.

@@digitalx8460 Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us! 👍 I already build my own city following your tutorial and some others also. Some I can't make it work like adding custom background map.. I mean. I can add but I think i have lack of knowledge on how I can properly captured Google map scale to be able to synchronized to my 1:1 map scale project. I think it will really help me since I cab have a clear reference on how long the road is etc. instead of manually geering the meters of each road parts from google earth then convert it to map editor road map meter 😂 Im new to modding so I know many will laugh with this approach. Thats why having a synchronized google map scale tutorial will really helps me.

I did it exactly according to this video. In the final zip, the automaton folder is missing and in the model folder is missing cube.pmd and cube.pmg. If I click on dif in SCS Material in blender, the entire model turns black and it cannot be changed in any way (except through nodes).

Hello sir, the tutorial was very helpful...at first the models I imported from blender to ETS won't even show up in the content browser but now it does, the only problem is now its showing the model but with missing textures as a purple checkerboard. please if you can provide a solution for this it will be very helpful.

Make sure the image has the same size like 512x512, 1024x1024 etc.

Press C to change camera to birds eye (top down), then press A to cycle background view modes.

I have the same problem, set it up as in the SCS base files but the game doesn't recognise the company. only thing I see is this icon to choose a job.
