Thanks for the update. I am a print on demand seller and would like your guidance on personalization, do i need to buy each and every product and upload actual design in case of personalization because it would be too costly then . Please guide

It does say there are circumstances where they allow stock photos from the POD service like Printify or Printful for more of those generic products like tshirts etc

I make physical tumblers with sublimation and create digital designs for tumbler makers on the same shop , the new policy stunts my growth for tumbler sales as i have hundreds of my own designs that I can not possibly create a physical tumbler for each listing to sale this would be a fortune in actual tumblers and risk the item not selling with a design I may have created , forcing me to discount down that item to just sell to make profit back , indeed I get the reason for a lot and do see positives however clarity isn't good when it comes to listing photos making that first image the real physical product just would not allow me to scale my business , any thoughts insight or real feed back as i am very frustrated at the listing details , will I need to change or just take down all the Mock up listing for my physical tumbler that I sell all together ?

Thank you for your comment! Absolutely understandable concerns. In the first instance, I believe Etsy allows real photos taken by your customers..I would definitely work on trying to get these first as this will save you a lot of time and money. Prioritize your biggest sellers first. I hope that helps 🙏
