The GDP of Hungary is about 200 billion USD. We did not get EU funds since 3 years.. The EU owes Hungary up to 30 billion. So you can imagine why the economy is struggling. Just one more thing for the better understanding, we have thousands of companies here from other EU's countries. They does not have to pay custom fee, corporate income tax, ect.. because of the EU membership. That's why we (others too) have to get EU's funds back from the central budget. But we could not get it because we have different point of view concerning to the illegal immigration for example, but definitely not because of the rule of law!
