The tinto talks have given me a bit more faith. But it's definitely true that the game will lack a lot of the flavor that makes eu4 so replayable

@wazoniasty032 like since eu4 paradoxes track record is pretty hit or miss, like crusader king 3 is fine but it's a fucking cake walk compared to ck2

Johan himself stated that they plan to have as much content in EU5 at release as EU4 has *currently*. In a few weeks they're starting dev diary series for flavour stuff that will be there. Also, he specifically cites his failure at realizing the content issue with Imperator Rome as the reason for this decision. Now, obviously, given that he can say whatever and it might not be true, it's fair to doubt that. But they've given fans every opportunity to give feedback and have evalued and re-evalued it for what they want it to be the best experience. Not to say that doubts aren't justified, but have SOME faith that they know what they're doing(esp since it's not the main studio but PDX Tinto that are developing it and they've done great with stuff they've added for EU4)

Seems they’re going to dropping it with a lot more content - but I’ve got absolutely no interest in it … from what I can see it looks like a combo of imperator Rome and Victoria which I hate both so 🤣

Let's go! I think the multi-part achievement runs are some of my favorite content, though I do understand they probably take a long time to make and plan. It's always so interesting to hear how Zlewikk can push the game into being a multi-run checkbox and so many different things done in a single campaign
