EUC brand comparison 2023.

I was struggling between the V12 and RS. I watched Wrong Way's teardown of a fairly recent RS and I was a bit horrified. It looked more like a prototype than a production unit (though better than earlier RS's). The V12 looks like it came from a modern production line. I live in an area where unexpected light rains are the norm so I need an EUC where the company at least tries to waterproof it's products. Someday I will have a Begode in my collection, but I really like the quality and reliability (I prefer those descriptions over convenience) of Inmotion and Kingsong. As usual thanks for your videos!

Thank you for comment. V12 is the most convinient wheel of them all. If I had to move to Mars with one wheel only, it would be V12. Fortunatelly, I will die on Earth, surrounded by my Big Begode family. 😂

I have a v12, very reliable and convenient, but honestly wish they made a longer range wheel. I’d be fine with the speed on it if I could get some more range out of it.

That's my biggest complaint too. 1300 miles on the ht and range is worst complaint. I still get about 59 miles though.

@@trowland9575 seems good though, I mean if I didn’t live in the middle of fucking no where then I’d be fine w the range. 20 miles of fast traveling is enough. But I want to attend group rides and go to trails which are 30-60 miles away from me

@@trowland9575 how many miles are you wanting ? 59 is 5x longer than my longest ride. Wouldn’t a small light reliable fast charger be better to take along then just stop for a break to rest and charge back up a considerable amount?

maybe is time for Sweeden to begin producing these machines... and selling them with those warranty conditions that conform to Sweeden's legislation. And.... make the whole enterprise profitable. Big challenge, I think.

It's hard to understand why the manufacturers have decided to "ignore" the European market knowing the stricter regulations and usual limitations in faster roads, unlike the US where all these high speed, long distance and very heavy wheels are better adapted. Although I love high performance wheels, I miss more MSX type eucs, lighter, convenient ones like you say. In my opinion it is not good for the long run, even risking a complete stop in trade if the economic war between China and the US develops as one side seems to be pushing. Hopefully Europe can stay out of the fight and get China to focus on them again. I am also sure the regulations will slowly disappear when the benefits of this form of travel overcome the risks, dangers and negative press.

I rate wheels on engineering design, construction, sturdiness, usefulness and safety. As you can imagine from that criteria list, Begode is not a wheel that I will ever buy given their track record of being abysmal on those qualities. Inmotion appears to be the top tier manufacturer closely followed by Kingsong with Leaper Kim being still in a stage of having to prove itself.

Abrams? May be a dog. But far from the top. Shermans is good, but short living, with costly repairs & lack of parts. 🍿
