Once you download the app, it walks you through the very easy set up. The clarity, and range is awesome. I am thinking seriously about adding another camera or two to my 3 camera system. The price is lower than a lot of comparable systems.

Does the recording ever slow your WiFi ? I tried other WiFi based security cameras but they slowed down my WiFi dramatically

I have 4 Cam Es - installed them in Sept and Oct of 2019. One of them got to "low battery" this week (JUne 2020) so I charged all 4 today. --> 9 month battery life - but through the cold Minnesota winter

I changed all my cameras about 4 months ago and may charge them soon - we walk around a LOT every day and trigger the cameras a lot, every day. So I'll recharge them before the cold Minnesota winter hits and I don't want to charge them. :-)

Josh > I just purchased the system and I thought that your evaluation was excellent and accurate > I love the system because there’s no monthly charge and the cameras are very clear > I live in a beach community and occasionally the beach will have petty theft > my beach police detective told me to get a camera that “ records “ so this system works well > it comes with a 16 GB mini SD card but I had an extra 128 GB mini SD card so I install that so it would last a long time > this will help police if you should have a break in because now you can give them the SD card for their investigation or you could email the suspect in video footage >

I’ve had mine for over a year and based on 6-10 events a day the battery lasted 9.5 months, I’m happy with that 😉

I have been running this for a year, give it a score of 6/10. The battery will not last a year in a normal urban envioronment, more like 6 months, not a show stopper but the statements made here are pure bollocks. Each morning I check the cameras, most shots are the local cats or stuff just blowing around. The wifi reach is one wall, two at best to 10 metres. Have had a couple of blips where a camera goes offline, once rebooted ok. Would I buy it again? Hindsight being what it is, probably not, but havent seen any alternative that is conclusively better. Would I recommend it? Not on the nonsense in this vid, I looked for convenience and avoiding cable runs so this fitted the bill.

Hey man.. I have a Eufy doorbell just got it. Its pretty decent quality in terms of build. Pros: Premium feel Easy to pair and set up Camera quality in the day I fantastic Sensitivity is great too just need to set based on requirements Records up to 60 seconds depending on what is in the camera range Cons: Night vision is hazy Can't remove SD card everything is stores on the device Can easily be stolen if someone has a very small thin screw driver

My base station has a 16g card on board, with room for expansion via a USB. It records to the station card and instant notification to my phone when it goes off no matter where I am.it’s good to see deliveries while I’m at work

As the owner of Eufy doorbell, Camera E, floodlight camera, I'd say I'm so happy to locate these products. The resolution is amazing and better than any other product on the market. Fast response speed and easy UI. Compare to Eufy, other smart security products are trash.

@@KiwiTimmy yes, the cameras are working well. They are pretty well made and can hold mild to extreme outdoor environment. I have been using them over a year and still happy with them. Eufy is definitely great unless you choose to use wired cameras.

@@KiwiTimmy yes, I can do that where ever cellular data transmission is available. Should you have cameras installed where has a good WiFi signal coverage. Cuz it really makes a significant difference of responding speed.

I have an issue with this product. It doesn’t have a proper instruction book. I don’t know how to reactivate the anti theft alarm that a accidentally set off when I moved the camera mid set up. The button on top of the homebase E just says sync alarm off. Where’s the on button?!

It should be all wifi, so unless you are streaming it to your phone outside of the network, it should be quite minimal (unless you go for the cloud storage option)

Ours definitely lasted us a year before having to recharge, it was actually about 13 months before we had to charge one.

Well folks here's something that Eufy doesn't tell you. If you need to change your email address you have to delete all your cameras and your account and start over with the new email address. You can change your password but you cannot change your email with a user name and password.

DO NOT BUY Eufy cameras. None of the reviews on youtube mentioned camera offline issues. I brought eufy camera 2 weeks ago. But more than half of the time the cameras are offline. I need to reconnect them again and again and again. How possible a security camera can help you to monitor home if they are offline most of the time?

These are the biggest piece of crap I won't buy again. They work sometimes. Sometimes they don't. You can stand infront of it moving and it doesn't set it off. Other day's it works. That is not security. Sometimes I get 2 notifications then it just stops working for 18 hrs. Please don't waste your money on this crap. I have talked to a lot of people that bought these. They were either replaced or thrown away. No support in Australia. They take 24hrs to reply then another 2hrs to reply to your reply. This is probably the most hated useless thing I own.
