Not normally a fan of indoor cameras as you never know. But i like the privacy mode wher it turns away and hides. Can you trigger the privacy mode by setting the status? So when home it goes private then when set yo away it comes out to watch your house? Looks like it has a personality too.😊

Yes, in the app, you can automate when your GPS location is not at home, that the affected cameras are turned on. Or you can buy a security set that when you enter the pin code, the cameras start recording.

@mopyomouthwithsoap well, nobody can say something Is impossible to hack. But with this camera, as it looks away in privacy mode, you will instantly be able to tell as it will need to turn round. Even the best hacher can't make it see round corners.

Why did you need to insert a Micro SD card when you said you were going to link it up to your HomeBase 3? I'm confused. No Micro SD card is needed when you're going to install it on the HB3 correct?

Can you disable consistent notifications of the camera, or is that ONLY through the schedule feature? Also, with the doorbell you can add faces. I didn’t see that feature in the indoor camera. Eufy should have a feature where the camera DOES NOT notify you, if a familiar face is recognized.

Mine doesn't tilt all the way down. Keep saying "reach it's limit" I have to forcefully til it down. And few hours later, it tilts up and stays pointing up. So disappointing 😊

Is it possible to set the motion detection to be automatically saved to the phone, or is it only saved to the SD card and then manually downloaded to the phone? If a thief gets into the apartment and destroys the camera, will the video be automatically saved on the phone?

It can be saved to sd card within camera or you can set it to save to the basestation or you can subscribe for it to be saved automatically to the cloud. Of course, you can also manually save video clips remotely and at any time to your phone. With that said, I'm not sure if there is a setting where you can automatically save it to your phone.

This was my question. Our ring can only record when motion events are detected and it takes a decent amount of motion to set it off sometimes. Just looking for something that can record 24/7 as I am trying to see if I am having reactions to my night terrors instead of missing the whole time I'm asleep

My geofencing doesn't work, and looses connection constantly 5 ft from a 6e Google fiber router. Absolute garbage for being a "security" camera. Really wanted to love it, but it just won't let me.

Thanks for the video. If you have a homebase 3 can you record motion events to the homebase 3 and ALSO record 24/7 to the SD card. I thought someone once said that if you record to homebase 3 it DISABLES the 24/7 dd card recording. I would want BOTH for redundancy so if the steal the actual camera the homebase 3 will have motion events (and vice versa). Sorry loads of faults still. Just bought it and 1st doesnt really use the 3x lens unless you chose dual lens but you loose the 4K. Also on viewing if you put 3x you loose autotracking. Etc etc etc such a shame so many people talking about what they dont understand at all! Dozens if not hundreds saying this is very good camera and its not! It has still too many faults!!!
