@@EugeValovirta230V hey eugh you gotta check out amplitude 5, the max bundle. I love it man it does it all and you can load custom IRS. you should contact them and tell them you want to make a video they would hook you up free. Their are very few videos of it as well you could pick up alot of followers doing instructional videos because alot of people with little guitar experience or money use it because of the price. Slash uses it on the road and at home as well.

Bogrens IR are awesome, what a bargain considering how it effects the sound in a mix. Me personally I think it’s difficult to find out how the IR shines when only hearing the guitar and not with bass, drums etc. You can get the character and even though the names in Bogren IR-s are a bit silly they say at least a bit how the sound like (ish). Usually I just use one or two IR-s that sounds good and are inspiring for practicing and others after the recording.
@EugeValovirta230V2 жыл бұрын
Indeed. I do pretty much the same 👌.

Thanks for the great video Euge! May i ask what is the difference (impact) betweenusing IR's on hardware and libra on cubase can you provide some info ? Thanks!!
@EugeValovirta230V2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! If you record a direct sound from the reactive load and use Libra, or whatever IR loader, you can change the IR afterwards when mixing etc.

I see the UR816C has been replaced with the AXR4….thoughts on the upgrade? I’m contemplating the same upgrade from my 816C….loving all the videos!!!
@EugeValovirta230V2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I needed more I/O and a bit better preamps especially when recording vocals & AC guitars. And I also slaved the URC to the AXR with two lightning cables so now I have plenty I/O since my hardware audio gear has been growing a bit recently 😎. And the Thunderbolt connection is just 👌.

Whats cool, is i use the valovirtious and sound of god IRs 70% of the time as a blend in a dry wet set up. Diffrent guitars sound like diffrent guitars (tunings) when you plug into the rig and also the player sounds like the player. Also Kohle's IRs are really good too. Im always blending and experimenting. Bogren Digital IRs are the best!!

i like Bogren IRs, my only problem is that I don't know exactly what cabinet-speaker-microphone combination is used for each IR files. I have my tips but it would be nice if Jens gave at least for example that "Marshall V30 with sm57 + R121 + magic". :)
