With the whole Pretty and Siya thing, like with the Ultimatum scenario, I kinda see if as the fact that since the world, and culture is so male oriented, old fashioned style, that if a man speaks up on such things, they will not be taken seriously or that they will be seen as ‘weak’ or ‘someone that enjoys it’. You know? Like, any type of horrible behavior they face with their partner, people wouldn’t blame the woman as much as the men while if roles were reversed, all hell breaks loose. It doesn’t null the men’s faults in said relationship, it’s something that can be harder to address.
