Tim! I caught my biggest trout ever on one of these euro golden stones I tied following your video. What an incredible experience. Thanks for all your videos, they have helped me progress tremendously in fly tying and fishing through this difficult year. Thanks and all the best!

What a great way to hold the lead free wire to the shank with those hackle pliers, thank you so much for sharing.

Great tie, very simple fly, I think I could tie a few of these, with some slightly different materials, as I prefer small size Caddis hooks over jig and straight shank nymph hooks. Thank you for this pattern.

watches fly tying videos... orders a new type of dubbing after each video... $500 later still needs possum dubbing

Tim another great video and fly I will have to add a couple of these to my fly box thanks! Had the Orvis hooks in my hand yesterday at the Orvis shop but put them back because I was looking for size 14 for the Euro Pheasantail and put them back. Looking forward to tying them. I was wondering if you would do a video on your favorite tying vises and what application you feel each vise excels at. Thanks again! Roger

great pattern, I've think if you snip the rubber legs at a steep angle with really sharp scissors to make a taper in the rubber legs, it looks even better

it's nice, but I like them to at least look like one. Maybe the fish don't care. There are so many theories about what the fish respond to. I believe it is movement. Color may have something to do with it, not sure. I think movement is the key to the predatory, fish. All the best and thanks for sharing. Sean

This guy is the biggest demo tier on KZbin and is regarded as a God in the fly tying community,I think he wouldn’t share A pattern if it didn’t look like a stone
