My granddaughter brought me some paper beads from Thailand and they look like regular beads they are beautiful. I have made paper beads also. I used Diamond glaze on mine just because I had it. I use it on cards.

Very Nice and very helpful. Thank You for the excellent instructions . I have a trick you might like. Take a nail polish bottle and clean the jar and bush. Fill with Diamond Glaze. It makes it easier to use. Thank You again. Brent in Bountiful

can you use magazine paper for this? just wondering if i could recycle them.

You can use magazine paper for paper beads, for sure! For this particular bead, it's much thinner so you would have to use multiple layers of each of the three strips to get this shape. You might want to start with some of the other bead types when you use the magazines. Check my other tutorials for Inspiration!

None of my card stock packages has the weight of the paper on them so how can I tell?

It's a lot, I know! After awhile, you get a feel for the weights and can just sort of tell. But you you have to know what the weights feel like first.

Indra, from what I can tell 65lb cardstock is equal to about 176g. So 160g should be very close.

Nice! I would suggest that the volume remains constant. I watch late when others are asleep here. The sudden jump can be unpleasant, as in the end when the music kicks in. Thanks!
