Una regia moderna, ma divertente...diversa dalle nuove regie dark, tendenti al macabro che hanno veramente stufato... Ironica senza scadere nel grottesco pesante ed ambiguo che sembra infarcire le regie odierne....La vera commedia...divertente, serena, spassosa! Voci perfette, interpretazioni mimiche e vocali senza sbafature! Bravissimi!

Vasselina Kasarova is marvellous and it's a great joy to hear Rosina at the original pitch! Manuel Lanza is superb as Figaro, and he is also very decorative. I loved the mis-en-scene / scenery. Great singing by every member of the cast.

A lot of voice left at age 72 from Ghiaurov. Bravo. He apparently kept performing right up to the end (2004) of his life. Whatever one thinks of his expressive characterizations over the years he really comes through well here.

En años que he viso ésta esplendorosa opera jamás imaginé unos solistas de tal envergadura. Con el acompañamiento excelente donde no escapa una sola nota, esta puesta me emociona mucho, a tal punto que puedo arriesgar que es la mejor versión de Rossini por siglos. Afinación, representación justa y exacta,escenografía y vestuarios acordes, profesionalidad absoluta. Es un 10 puntos que me fascina y no deja de apasionarme cada vez mas por el nativo de Pésaro. This production is just magnificent. My favourite opera. As a kid when the cartoon bugs bunny did the barbiere di siviglia I was always mesmerized. From that time I have just loved the overture and since then the whole opera. Let me tell you, Rossini would be proud of this production. This is outstanding. I have enjoyed this immensely. Для Казаровой петь в операх Россини, видно, особенно большая забава, заметно, какое удовольствие она получала от актёрской игры как здесь, так и в "Итальянке в Алжире". Ну и, конечно, ансамбли с её участием "звенят" в полной гармонии!

По-моему, очень славный спектакль. Сложился замечательный актерский ансамбль. Нет ни одного пустого музыкального кусочка, все наполнено свободной актерской игрой и хорошим пением. Казарова оказалось очень веселой артисткой с хорошим чувством юмора. И мне тенор очень понравился. А Гяуров в свои годы просто высший класс! Брави!

Why can't Musician and people lighten up these days at these COMIC OPERA S i 'll tell ya. I Was just in Madrid And there where some Amazing and Fantastic Talent Classic Violinist and OPERA Singers. People were joking about with them while they carried on Singing, Playing. . Spain i guess they don't take it all tooo tooo Serious. But they were honestly Soooo Good enough to be in a pay like this. 😃🤩🙂
