Such a refreshing beautifully done traditional production! Everybody is very good. But Corbelli stands out as absolutely fantastic. His technique, his easiness in singing effortlessly the florid music, and on top of all his totally elegant delivery of the character Gaudenzio are really admirable. BRAVISSIMO!

EuroArtsChannel Thank you for a lovely presentation! I find myself looking up older productions nowadays, (2022), as I can't stand to watch some of the "modernized" versions of so many fine operas! It's unwatchable in many cases! They lose all sense of realism and what the composer had in mind. There is a reason why a work is written for a specific epoch, as it often can affect the plot. Not only that, but some of the sets are so sparse, you're lucky to get a chair or two, and the costumes can be downright ugly as well as vulgar. It ruins everything. So, again, thank you for a very true-to-composer, delightful performance!
