Indian police detain Italians accused of killing fishermen

www.euronews.net/ Police in India have detained two members of the Italian navy accused of killing two fishermen they mistook for pirates.
The Italians, members of a navy security team, were on an Italian merchant vessel when the incident happened last week. Their regiment has been supplying specialist "anti-pirate" personnel to accompany cargo ships.

to my all italian brothers, god promise the killed two men were poor fishermen. one of the killed is just 15km away from my home town and they are traditional deep water fishermen they haven't any weapons in their wooden boats, your ship did not give any warning signals as per the international laws. in that region till did not reported any pirates attacks, becz. our naval force are very active in our Indian ocean. shipping company have to give compensation to the victims family, & solve it

@belblus It is not the problem of Italy or India. It is the problem b/w 2 innocent fishermen and the 2 who killed those fishermen. I consider Italy as a Holy place. What the media is reporting there in Italy , I think there is some problem. This incident is happened inside the Indian territory and they would be under Indian law. not international or under Italy law.

If those Italians killed 2 Indian Muslims, then this will turned out to be an International issue, the news will be like this "Christians killed Muslims"... Since those fishermen was christian and because they are poor, you can do as you like...

@belblus what you know about our military, strength & our culture. don't try to break good relation between both countries, by using fake comments . law is same for rich Italians and poor fishermen in India.

good to see india govt taken action to italian army, well italy has god relitionship with india but 2 italian army did mistek so both have to punish

@GAURAV1140 I don't think India wants a nuclear excallation, since they maybe can win one match but certainly loose the game, not to mentinon that Nato has more than 100 times the number of nuclear weapons that India has, but this are silly arguments, lets focus on the case, you are mixing here law and war. Since both parts a civilised an international court should judge them in order to garantee impartiallity.
