@kyleporterCBS and @RickRunGood - thanks for the great and honest feedback. KP, I really appreciated your honest thoughts on the Spirit and Enthusiasm that the European Team clearly display. Was at The K Club and Valhala and there is nothing like being at this event. My 2 pennies - I would worry having JT and Jordan sharing a ball, so no argument about them not playing day 1 - day 2 they can prove me wrong. I do agree that JT on the course leading is essential and brings out the best in him and is essential for the US team. It just looks so false when a US player gets pumped when they do it once or twice over the game. I think the epitome of the European spirit and parings was Lowry with Straka. Lowry was so good at keeping Straka calm and pumped in equal measure, but most importantly making sure Straka didn't get too serious or down on himself. In closing - quick request please. Can you find out more about the 'illness' that Zach has said has invaded the players and caddy's??? Thanks for this and the previous videos - Ryder Cup rules and I am a South African. Tom

Agree. When it goes bad for one of them it goes really bad - Spieth last 5 holes as an example. Now you want them to share a ball!?!?! 😂😂 The two of them will be walking around on some holes asking 'has anyone seen our ball?' I / we will know whether we are right in a few hours.

Liv has killed the US team. DJ and Bryson need to be on their team. In fairness Harman and Wyndham won majors and I thought before the tournament Wyndham would be a dog and I’d hate to play harman considering how straight he hits it and his putting. But there’s no doubt you’d rather those other two blokes on the team. Maybe even the lefty as well for burns. Anyone disagree?

Not saying DJ and Bryson would be a pairing but are Europe gonna put Rose & MacIntyre out against a pairing like that? The reaction to the first day has been so extreme. Especially some people suggesting they don't care as much as the Europeans. Nobody was saying that when Europe got smashed last time. A lot of the same European guys. Do people think they didn't care when they got thrashed. Of course not, and of course the American guys care. These days happen in golf. They could easily have won 3-1 in the afternoon, and at 5-3, the conversation is totally different. And I'm saying this as an English Europe fan. Tomorrow is another day.

Europe saved themselves from it being 4-4. US was up in 3 matches but Europe halved it. I think they need to change the date of the Ryder Cup. There is no way in hell you can ask team USA players to be ready to play the Ryder Cup 5 weeks after the regular season ends. I think the US players didnt care in the morning wave. Dont get why Zach sat out JT in the morning wave. If you guys look at the matches Luke is sending out the same 4 teams in the morning. Zach is throwing shit to the wall to see what sticks. If USA can at least split 1 session, it wont be a blowout. I am very curious how producers for USA/NBC and Peacock deal with it if Europe sweeps tomorrow. Europe has had more playing chances since the Tour season ended. The big boys for Team USA want to sit on their asses for 4 months and not do anything.

Harmen didn't play that bad. He only hit a couple bad shots, but in foursomes every mistake is magnified... but he didn't make a single 15-25 foot putt and that's pretty much all he had for putting, but he should have dropped at least two of those (Homa never dropped in anything ultra close to the hole and he was playing off some pretty nice fairway leaves by Harmen, but 15 feet is still a good a leave in certain cases, but nothing amazing). Homa missed a couple 7 foot putts.

Seems like the American’s care about making the team and GOING to the Ryder Cup, not WINNING the Ryder Cup. Absolutely shameful performance today. If you are going to get your asses whooped, at least show some fire and fight. Rickie/Colin/Xander/Cantlay etc looked like they were playing a practice round. Show some damn emotion. No wonder Europe is running them over. Makes sense why ZJ wanted JT there. But I don’t even know if he’s capable of inspiring these robots.

Zach Johnson was in over his head from the start. How do you not put Bryson DeChambeau on the team? Not only that, but we are on the road, and he puts out the B-team to start the foursomes Homa and Harmon and not Spieth and JT? This Ryder Cup is over before it even begins.
