The same thing happened in S.A. for different reasons obviously, but this past election was the first time after 95 where the ANC lost their outright majority. Though a lot of their support was "Stolen" by the new MK party (Jacob Zuma and his Russian Handlers) it was most likely because of his visibility as a Zulu and thus they were his greatest supporters but the party really doesn't have any real sense of why it exists nor do they have any direction other that not wanting anything to do with the ANC.

It's a simple statement and is correct. Not to be disrespectful, but I suggest doing a little independent research. Not a quick Google search of NYT, The Atlantic ir WaPo editorials, ALWAYS check who funded the studies and examen the research methodologies, sampling and statistical analysis. I am aware this is a difficult undertaking and these methods are not commonly taught at schools, but "Trusting the Experts" is a bad rule of thumb. Once you have vetted a particular expert aka Researcher where the data presented supports his/her conclusion, they can be moved into a category of cautious trust. It's a time consuming endeavor, but it's the only way you will be able to get close to the truth. Suggestion that likely will work on Google; Type in : The 24 Logic Falacies and the 24 Cognitive Biases, Print it out and read it frequently. You'll spot BS quickly once you get these down
