A really good looking helicopter, except for the skids, which look rather badly designed and ungainly. Bell should have used the same skids from the Bell 427 / 407.

Heli-Crew HGS Not really. Usually you purchase equipment which is closest to home and widely available. For instance, Germans use German technology and the Japanese their technology. Airbus is right there in France, Bell is American. Just wondering why import if it’s available locally.
