I’ve got a 1994 Ford 8630 that came from across the pond. Has a foreign language in can. I think it was manufactured in Belgium 🇧🇪 I tell you what, those farmers take care of their tractors bc I’ve only had it 3 years and it’s still clean as a whistle inside and out. Everything still works perfectly on it and that’s rare w that old of a tractor. Disked and bedded 250 acres of corn land this year, but I had to break down and get a new one to help take some load off her. Tried out JD 6155M, case IH 180 magnum & a new holland T7 230. @Ethan-ck6iz
@Ethan-ck6iz 4 жыл бұрын
The ground is more solid and dry in the US, so you don't need a lot of tread to get good grip. Wide tires are much more expensive. And you also get the benefit of being able to use the tractor for row crop purposes (e.g. wheels fit within corn rows). Many farmers in the US also like to set up their wheels when planting corn so that the wheels don't run over the parts where the planter will plant the corn.

Parts for European john deeres are a nightmare they are nothing the same about them in the 10 series even the crank shafts are different

Interesting to know. This farm has a European 7710 in addition to this 7810.

It was chopped. It was a wet fall and I am going to guess it was seeded late and did not get a chance to yield this year.
