The thing is I do love Ireland' but there hasn't been a day or week that has went by that I did'nt want to leave this country since I was 18

I've got an idea for a meme, juxtaposition. Compare the face of a locust to the face of starmer. For several years I have often thought of the uncanny similarity. I just can't shake it from my mind every time labour is mentioned.

The left/right definition does not fit with modern society, it comes from a previous era. I prefer Ian R. Crain's definition: Humanity vs. Insanity.

I prefer to think of it in terms of individualism/libertarianism vs collectivism/authoritarianism.

The centre right EPP got more seats than any other group. They consist of mostly Christian Democrat parties and gained seats. The centre left Socialists and Democrats group got the second highest number of seats. UK Labour MEPs used to sit in that group, and it still has SPD MEPs in it. The group that the Conservatives used to belong to got much fewer votes. They are called European Conservatives and Democrats and are slightly to the right of the EPP.

I live in Barcelona and have entered quite a lot of 'alternative' environment here. I was feeling fine until the moment when I was called a racist. I'm a very liberal person, but what the far left proclaims is insane. As a heterosexual, monogamous white girl, I feel almost discriminated against 😅 They always put the guilt of white post-colonialist supremacy on you, saying capitalism is responsible for all the suffering around the world, the true communism hasn't arrived yet, and that fighting against fascism is the main objective. Everything is about fighting, and the only concern is for minorities. If you are part of the majority, then you are considered privileged and discredited in that way. It's very funny what you said about the establishment of bourgeois bohemians because many of those people come from extremely rich families and live like hippies. Thanks for your video 🤙

Thanks. I've not come across a better name than bourgeois bohemians so far. It's very strange that back in England they superceded the old bowler hat wearing old boy network as the establishment class but still see themselves as countercultural. It's like a bug in reality that can't fix itself.

⛔️ Unpopular opinion alert 🚨 🌈 I’d rather rainbows than crosses. Crosses are part of the establishment that make rainbows essential. Pride doesn’t condemn Christianity but you can’t invert that equation. And what’s the ratio comparison of Christianity to Pride as far as things “being rammed down our throats” are concerned? I’ve never had people knocking on my door asking me to join the church of Pride. And I’ve never seen Pride commercials on TV or radio two months before Pride Month. Pride to me is less offensive and in-yer-face and more passive than football and Christmas. And of course unlike Christianity, Pride is about celebrating people who actually indisputably exist. You’ve not seen one rainbow? How many crosses have you seen? 🤔

So which societies are the most tolerant? Given that they are all based on some theocracy or other.
@MrOpaquelens5 ай бұрын
Catholicism is part of the furniture in the Philippines, so crucifixes are everywhere. However there isn't a political agenda to shove it down your throat. There isn't a month where they stick them everywhere and call people bigots for not embracing crosses shoved down your throat. My issue with pride is that it's been hijacked by ideological zealots akin to Marxism and Trotskyism. The rainbow is just a front for a malevolent political hostile takeover.

@@MrOpaquelens Hostile takeover? People were killed if they didn’t convert to Christianity!

Maybe so, 700 odd years ago. But this doesn't say anything about Christians or gays. That's a false dichotomy fallacy. This is about the human condition and desire some people have for power against all others. Christianity was a route to that once. Nowadays the LGBTQWERTY crusade is filling the shoes as part of a far left umbrella whilst extreme islamism is doing it from another angle. These ideologies are all fronts. Behind the fronts are the hijackers using these things for power politics. It's still stone age tribal squabbles, but they hide behind human ideological abstractions.

I remember your SFR show with all the gunfire! But, God knows we all make mistakes. At least you weren't a bloody trade unionist like I was! I've been astonished with the change that has suddenly occurred in politics. It's as if Brexit has finally continued after a four year pause.
