The most notable thing about this challenge was that Luke and Sarah didn't seem to have any difficulty understanding what the lady was saying, despite her regional accent or not being particularly careful to speak slowly. Being able to understand a native speaker speaking casually is as important as being able to speak their language. Way to go, Luke and Sarah! 👏

De todas as pessoas que utilizou nos seus desafios, este casal era de longe o melhor. Eram realmente bons.

I’ve recently discovered your channel, Liz, and I’m loving it! My family and I are coming to Portugal soon (🤞🏼), hopefully to find our new home, and your videos are helping immensely with learning Portuguese. Obrigada! From another Londoner xox

My friend actually owns some goats and sheep, so, if I ever make my way to Portugal, this stuff might actually come in handy. Thanks for the vid, Liz :).

Muito obrigado. Que tem boas compras (Is this wish grammerly correct?)
@TalktheStreets2 жыл бұрын
You can simply say “boas compras!”
@hannahwalmer11242 жыл бұрын
It would be "Que tenha boas compras" which is for the formal in Portuguese from Portugal. "Que tenhas boas compras" would be the informal, but, like Liz said, just saying "boas compras" will do :)

Hello I really wanted advice as my first language is Portuguese but slowly and slowly I stopped speaking it and I started losing how to communicate fluently as I understand everything but sometimes I struggle to communicate what advice do you give

Find someone to practice with at least once a week, you just need to get speaking again. Its like a muscle, if you don’t use it you lose it x

Muito Obrigado ! Could you please help me with one specific question? -In case I point at something and ask for its name (now what is it, but for the name of it), how do I ask? (1) Qual é o nome disso? (2) Como e chamado? (3) Como se chama? Which question is grammerly correct? Which question is more commmon the European Portuguese? Thanks much and Kind Regards.
