Everyone seems not to get that life expectancy and lifespan are two different things. Life expectancy can be change by disease or death by childbirth. Lifespan has pretty much remained constant. If you survived the disease or not dying at birth you would probably live to be 70, 80, or even 90 years old.

The checking for 10 windows for 10 kids on the house at the end made me smile. Smart. That kind of curiosity used to apply logic was a skill sought out by some of the best spies in history. Ever watch Inglorious Bastards? There's a scene where a guy's cover is blown when he seemingly does nothing wrong. What he did do in fact was use a hand signal not native to whom he was pretending to be. The enemy immediately picked up on this mistake. Such a seemingly small detail can be life or death. Another great example of this in practice is in the movie Taken, when during the abduction, he stays calm and says to shout everything she sees while she can. All that extra information became vital for her recovery. Even small details. Anyways.....great job noticing that detail :)

@@tonyaawessome A perfect example for the exaggeration is, even though Paul Revere was captured well before midnight, he's the only rider of many remembered because his name rhymed easily, for a particular writer who penned a poem, "The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere." I suspect much more is made up of exaggeration than is true. As in the video's title, "Angry old veteran vs 700 Red coats." He took a few pot shots at them and was lucky to have lived. That's hardly him taking on 700 men by himself.

@@Atheos-1 Revere, Prescott and Dawes were detained but were later released just after midnight and Revere made his way back on foot to Lexington to witness the latter part of the battle on Lexington Green. So my supposition is that the event ocurred, and the writers of history may have taken some poetic license but it does not diminsh what he and many others accomplished.

He tracked them all of the way back to their village in Pennsylvania ,walked into the village and said something like "you've got my wife and kids and I'm here to take them back " . The Indians were impressed by the size of his balls so they didn't kill him on the spot .Instead they said " We will send your wife and kids back ,but keep you prisoner " . Having so many kids was actually very common back then, you have to remember, the infant mortality rate back then was very high. Parents would have a lot of kids because it was very likely that at least a few of those kids wouldn't make it to 5 years old. Sometimes Parents would lose over half their children, sometimes they'd get lucky and lose none. They were very different times, remember, their medical knowledge back then was primitive at best.
