I once drank from a polish vodka bottle, with 95% alcohol content (around 1993). I didn't know it was like concentrated orange juice, that you had to dilute in 2 parts water. I was a stupid kid at the time, and no internet to find out that it was not safe for human consumption in it's pure form. For decades I thought polish people drank 95% alcohol drinks, hahaha. That's my stereotype of the polish people.

No! The polish vodka bottle also had an english label (beside the polish text) that said "Spirit of Poland - Vodka 95º". Someone bought it in the Eastern Bloc and then offered it to my father in the late 1980's. I've read in Wikipedia that it was concentrated vodka, meant to be dilluted in water, to dillute it to ~37,5º I think. I hope some polish guy can give me more details.
