I think this is probably the most practical running event. 60m is a good distance, a lot of team sports rely on many short sprints with fast acceleration, as opposed to longer runs. 60m is also the most inclusive distance, because a lot of people don't have access to a nice, sunny, grass oval to train on.

The 6''47 done here on the 60s compared to the 100s is equivalent to a 9''90 or even less, all the idiots and envious people in bad faith who have insinuated doubts about Jacobs by going to see his times on the 100s in the last year, emphasizing his progress, they deliberately ignored this result (in addition to ignoring the much greater progress made by Kerley, the American who finished second in Tokyo)

lol i think the doubt come from the fact that of the 40 fastest times ever run, the only athlete to ever be 'clean' was usain bolt. Anyone else whos run under 9.7 something has been done for doping at some point. Aasfa powel, johan blake, tyson gay justin gatlin, maurice greene etc etc Which makes it highly likely I would say bolt was protected by dodgy Jamaican testing officials and the IAAF given hes run faster than any doped athlete ever in the 100m.
