@@mracer8 Totally disagree, throughout the whole history of cycling teams have let breaks go for the win, that does not make it a 'charity win' or a gift, but a hard fought win against every over rider in the break. Also, a stage win means nothing to Pogacer, but for a Polti or Bardiani rider it is the difference between getting a contract or losing their career, and for anyone it means so much more than Pogacer. Him going for stages is not because he is the best, but he is greedy, see Catalunya this year or Andalusia last year. When Roglic took the stage ahead of Gino Mader in Paris Nice 2021, he was lambasted, and rightfully so, but because Pogacer is seen as a 'nice guy' and 'fun character' off the bike people turn a blind eye to him being a twat on the bike. This gifting his jersey thing is just another reason for all those people who worship him to like him more, despite everything that happens off it.

This is blatantly UN-NATURAL. People say "give me proof" or "he has never given a positive test result" but that is the most ridiculous response. The greatest dopers didn't get caught by the testing! It usually came out YEARS later. What people fail to realise is that when you spend €100,000s on these "Drs", of course the juice itself is important but the MOST IMPORTANT thing they are offering is the ability to beat the testing protocols and system!! We know who owns Team UAE and they have UNLIMITED money, lack of standards and morals, they're greedy and they are willing to win and be THE BEST AT ANY AND ALL COST!!! I've done quite a bit of RESEARCH on this the past 3 years and I've looked into how the doping is done and how the testing system and protocols are seriously flawed and lacking All these people won't admit he's on "the program" and it's staring them in the face! If you heard ALL the commentators after Sundays win, they were literally lost for words. They did not know what to say because it was SOOOO UNBELIEVABLE!!! These are ex pro riders and they can't even believe what they saw. WADA is a joke and not catching these doping programs. The police and law enforcement agencies need to be brought into this like they did with Bahrain Victorious at TDF few years ago and like they did with the Festina affair in '98 or '99 and do search warrants, CRIMINAL investigations and do LONG TERM surveillance on the teams and the Drs. It's the only way they will catch them!! 🤘🏻🏴

They need to start handicapping Poggi, like add weights to his bike to even things out with the other riders.

The race was supposed to start before the mountain but it was snowing and too dangerous, especially the long steep descent so the riders threatened to boycott the race, the organisers took a full day to listen to them before having a fake start at the original beginning and then transferred all the riders and bikes over the mountain by cars and buses before starting it at a random car park so that there was a space for the riders and bikes to be unloaded into the rainy but flatter run to the final short climb.

Like many others in the comments, I've had some question marks re. what we're watching over the last few weeks. I admit I didn't watch cycling much in the 1990s and 2000s when we know doping was rife so can't really compare it to now with what we're seeing on-screen. - We won't really know for sure unless something comes out in a few years time - the new David Walsh/Paul Kimmage investigating, teammates spilling the beans, other exposés or police investigations or tests catching up with the product of the day - so until there is something solid to base it on, Tadej gets the benefit of the doubt. Innocent until proven guilty. At least in my view... To also put some context on it - He is up against Ineos' probably third best GC rider at the moment (as much as i think G is a legend - he is doing fantastic but he is 38 now), Visma-Lease-a-Bike's Uitdjebroeks has gone home before really showing if he could do anything, Martinez - good rider but probably the third or fourth GC rider at Bora, Bardet hasn't been up at that level in a good few years, and you can keep going down the list. None of these guys would be up or near to Pog or Jonas in the Tour - check last year's TdF results... UAE Emirates also have stockpiled riders like Adam Yates, Isaac del Toro, Juan Ayuso, Joao Almeida, Rafal Majka so guys who might have put up something to Pog if they were on other teams... This is that result - the GC field below Pogacar consists of brilliant and hardworking athletes but none on his level. This stage he won barely breaking a sweat - I dont think I've ever seen anything like how casual it was for him today - whether naturally or unnaturally Pogacar is just several levels above everyone here. It is incredible to witness greatness at its absolute peak - possibly the best rider for decades - and hopefully it won't get spoiled several years down the road!

It seems as though they all are doing something whether illegal, sort of legal, etc. As long as they aren't doping, using roids or electric assist devices, let them.

💥I actually found out what his numbers were on Foscagno on Sunday. He had an avg of 6.2watts/kg for the final 35 mins and while he was chasing Niaro he did 6.9watts/kg for 13 mins and this was all at altitude, ABOVE 2000mtrs!!!! He also beat that climb by 4½ mins by a KNOWN DOPER and Pogi did it with such ease!! Get a clue people. Do research yourselves!! This is much more than "above and beyond" the rest! This is blatantly UN-NATURAL. People say "give me proof" or "he has never given a positive test result" but that is the most ridiculous response. The greatest dopers didn't get caught by the testing! @@kennykaniff All true, but a much better strategy is to level the playing field by allowing everyone to be on the same "nutritional" regime as Pog. Open source - you can dope, but the purpose of the testing becomes so that everyone knows just how you are doping to copy it. It might be exciting - we'd have musclebound sprinters setting new climbing records and skinny little grimpeurs winning bunch sprints. May the best chemist win!

When accusing someone of a crime, you are required to produce proof. Someone being really good is not proof. And slander is not a good argument. Maybe go find some joy in your life. And a different sport to watch.

@@kenoliver8913 OH, don't get me wrong. Funnily enough I agree completely. I usually say this at the end of my comments but maybe I forgot this time so I'll say it now . . . I actually love the doping going on! I think it's awesome! We get to see superhumans doing superhuman sh1t!! I say dope them ALL!!! But, dope them all EQUALLY!!! If you think what we see from Pogi and Jonas is awesome, imagine that😂 You couldn't take your eyes off of it!!! The reason I say "equally" is because I believe MANY riders are on some sort of "program" on one level or another so juice them all THE SAME!!! 🤘🏻🏴

If Pogacar is a truly strong athlete, he should do his utmost to win every stage of the race. Athletes do not have much time at their peak, and each year's race conditions and competitors are highly unpredictable. Please stop with the sarcastic comments and let Pogacar go all out to create records!
