Like him or hate him he's the best of all time, he learned from them all Reardon, Jimmy, Alex, Davis, Hendry, John Higgins etc, updated his game and is the best scorer in Snooker history. He knows the table so well how to play safe etc. Ronnie faced far tougher crops than Hendry did Ronnie came up against a declining but solid Davis, peak Hendry himself, Williams, Higgins, Hunter, Stevens, later on Selby, Ding, Robbo, Judd and he has still won so many tournaments in recent years. Snooker is a dying game there will never be another Ronnie again.

Love Ronnie but I just don’t get this narrative that gets pushed? Hendry was playing against all the class of 92. Ken, ebdon Jimmy in his peak. Lee stevens Hunter how is that weaker. Hendry was a genius himself it’s all about recent bias. Hendry changed the way the game was played long red straight into the pack no safety. His que getting snapped fucked him. Ronnie has now long taken it too another a level but this happens is sport

To me, Ronnie O'Sullivan is the very definition of Snooker. I've learned every technique by watching Ronnie play. But the biggest win for Ronnie (bigger than winning most titles and 7 world titles), in my perspective, is the battle that he won against his demons at a certain period of time and age. And that is what makes him a real champion in my view. I'm really lucky to be alive in the era of the greatest of Snooker players that ever graced this game and especially I got to see my inspiration becoming the Greatest.Of.All.Time. You are simply the Best Mr. ROCKET O'Sullivan. 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀

I remember watching Ronnie winning his World title in 2001, me being a student from Russia, residing in London, I fell in love with the guy's personality immediately. He is truly special, even though of course everyone is an outstanding player in the pro snooker league. Anyway, always shout for Ronnie, and glad that he's so many people's hero. Hope he gives us many more years of pleasure of watching him play. Top lad.

You don't have to like him (I do I love him) but you have to appreciate him Very few have ever been able to do what Ronnie can When the game isn't "on" he just drops it back to another gear and takes off When it's working fine people have a go at him saying he's not trying hard enough That's just Ronnie tucking the game up his sleeve for when he needs it He can play every shot in the book and if it doesn't exist he creates one ROS has played and beat them all over the decades and the titles are still coming What a man our Rocket is We will all miss him terribly when he walks away but for the WST they can't afford to lose him Ticket sales will go through the floor and TV ratings will die
