St Pancras was purpose built as a train station in 1868. Roughly about the time that the Houses of Parliament were rebuilt - so they both use that gothic style of architecture that was in vogue at the time. If you are Harry Potter fans, you could have visited the adjacent Kings Cross station, there’s a Platform 9 ¾ there

Oh wow!!!!!! This was such an amazing video! The Eiffel Tower was magnificent, especially when it got dark. I would have freaked out in that tiny elevator at the hotel, and worrying about the strike. I can hardly wait for the next video!! So far, Paris is fabulous!

@9:36 Dawn's million-dollar smile! Even on a cloudy day, you have a good view of central Paris. I saw the UNESCO "Y" shaped building, Napoleon Bonaparte's Tomb, and the Hotel de Invalides. I don't think you caught the Arch de Triomphe or Notre Dame. Paris has two Statues of Liberty - one on the River Seine and the other one on the grounds of Luxembourg Palace.

There’s also a copy of the Statue of Liberty in Colmar, France - the birthplace of Auguste Bartholdi, the designer. It’s such a beautiful town. Recommended for future visits.

Brought back memories of my trip to Paris on the train from London. We had to deal with a strike too. The Parisians are always protesting something, as they should . Just have to be aware of what during your travels
